I don't think it would be difficult in terms of programming either. But this doesn't really matter here. Just whether you would like it or not.

Hero idea:

Defensive trapper: Uses bouncing betties, claymores, and tripwires to impede attackers. Give them an okay assault rifle somewhere in between 76's and Widow's full auto. OR iron sight bolt action rifle, high damage, but slow to cycle rounds and reload.

Bouncing Betty: Low damage, but pushes enemies away, possibly off edges

Claymore: Classic claymore, high damage due to shrapnel. Damage radius is cone shaped and dissipates quickly.

Tripwire: Not explosive, but rather is a barely visible wire you can place anywhere that will trip enemies and make them vulnerable for a short time (a little like Ana's sleep dart)

I want a defensive hero that would be absolute garbage on offense and nobody would pick for offense, but would be metal on defense.

I wish rank decay started at a higher rank. Diamond is still a casual shitter rank and sitting in diamond without playing for a month isn't the same at all as sitting in top 500 without playing for a month.
