So, let me get this straight.
Sawbones makes a discord to talk with his SS13 friends.
It gets found out that they have it because they keep inviting more people from the server, and apparently people were meta-gaming in it. It gets shut down.
From here, the headmin at the time, Nuke, decides to make an official discord and invites everyone to come join. It fills up with players and there's a bit of a player base divide, but it seems to be doing okay. People talk with their friends, the admins are present and very little ICK OCKing happens and no meta-gaming (as far as i'm aware).
Now, the flavor of the week becomes EVE. A lot of people play it, and they decide to make a Corp. the FOTW changes, so Sawbones decides to make a separate Discord, solely for the EVE corp they created of only other SS13 players. Instead of asking for a place in the SS13 discord or just using the already available channels.
Now, when this dies, instead of returning to the SS13 discord to talk to other SS13 players, he (or someone in that group) makes a brand new Discord "to play games in". Again, instead of using the SS13 discord which was made for this exact reason. It contains multiple text channels to talk about other videogames and multiple voice channels for people doing different things. The people who use this new discord become sparse in the original SS13 discord. But this new one is still just filled with /vg/ SS13 players.
Why is this allowed?
Why is Sawbones allowed to get away with this?
All he seems to want to do is split this community in two, people who are his friends and people who aren't. It seems very power-grabby to me.

Chemist is the obvious one. I'll take roundstart chemist but chemist at 13:00 usually lacks content. We have a lot of cool stuff that takes a while to get but they usually require you to go on a trip to get it. Honey, peridaxon, DD, nanobots, stuff like that. Stuff that's really cool in theory but requires a lot of lead up time from other players, and that's only if they start preparing it the moment you ask. So it's really dodgy to get that stuff.

I'd like there to be more chems for late game but late game chems tend to either be imbalanced for irrelevant. And it'd be nice if they were things chemists could get directly either through a cargo order or something that doesn't require a ton of spool up time to manufacture.

Is there any way to make the client automatically retry reconnecting when an attempt fails?

For example, if the server reboots at round end, then I get the "you are either AFK or disconnected" message and it attempts to reconnect, however since the server takes a while to boot up this attempt fails and then the client just... stands there doing nothing until I either restart it or go to Options and Messages, Client, Reconnect.

So, is there any setting that forces the client to keep trying instead of giving up after the first failed attempt?

Metal > Basic shot, brute damage and bleeding chance
Glass > Weaker but a bit faster and with a high chance of bleeding
Phazon > Quick as fuck and can phase up to 2 walls
Uranium > Deals toxic damage and minor brute damage
Plasma > Can contaminate clothes and stuff, minor damage

However, it'd need so much damn coding and people would probably just rather play normal SS13, so it's just another pipe dream. At least it was fun coming up with it.
