So let me get this straight. Apologyman made a discord to invite only his friends too because there was ONE person he didn't want to play videogames with?
That's really sad and immature dude. How are you supposed to make non-bias decisions as an Admin when you get so upset about a single person you decide to uproot part of a community and move it somewhere private? And why do these things always end up involving Sawbones?
I saw that it was posted on the forums and Pain doesn't care, but I don't think he really understands the toll on the community making all these large off-shoots has.
I saw somewhere that people mentioned the coder discord. I believe that was made for a legitimate reason. It replaces the IRC and (should be) completely "proffessional" in its operation It also doesn't help that Celt is such a child he managed to piss off a lot of people by repeatedly being a nuisance on purpose.
I don't think moving the admins to the coder discord and then purging it would be a good idea. I always thought the purpose of the /vg/ SS13 discord was to keep the community wholely in a moderated environment, much like the thread, where admins can watch over and make sure people aren't breaking the rules. But apparently this isn't the case or something. If we delete and purge the regular discord, all we will see is pop-ups of these smaller friend-clique discords specifically tailored towards SS13 in some way. And who knows what will go on in these.
Pain says people who metagame are obvious as hell. I'm here to admit that in the past, I have metagamed on /vg/ and broken pretty much every rule about seperating OOC from IC. I have not been caught and do not have any notes about it. It is EASY if you think to get away with metagaming. Just because it isn't obvious, doesn't mean it isn't happening, Pain.

Sec is fun, but one of the more stressful roles. Probably the most stressful round I've played was when I was a detective, the lone security staff, and the captain did a murder mystery thing involving himself. I got told by the AI that the captain had gone missing, and that it had intercepted very suspicious PDA messages. The captain pretty much led me on a wild goose my chase, messaging me while pretending to be a ling that had killed him and stolen the PDA. Eventually, he led me to botany. He popped, and then stunned everyone in the room and started saying that it was all a prank. I just said "hah, funny joke, cap" and went on to my normal routine. However, the AI was not convinced. It locked him down I to the bridge, and told me to go over and further investigate. He told us that we could incinerate him if we REALLY wanted to be sure. He kept insisting, so it really did seem like he was trying to do some reverse psychology shit. I asked the AI what to do, and it said yeah, burn him up. I decided to compromise. I stripped and cuffed him, then I brought him over to robotics. He was screaming that he was just joking and not to borg him. He threatened to go braindead if we borged him, and told us to just incinerate him. I told him we'd just plop him into an MMI until we could confirm or deny his status as a ling. As soon as he was put on the table, he went braindead. Not 5 seconds after that, there was a big explosion, confirming that it was ops, not lings.
