The problem with mages is that most of what they do is in their kits, they can't have cool active because that could definitely break them. We could use another 20% cdr item though, that's for sure. But itemization for mages is mostly fine in my opinion, aside from Morellonomicon and Liandry's being overtuned atm.

I'm honestly blanking on this. Probably Runaan's, on the ADCs that use it - The attack speed boost is nuts especially if I'm ahead, it'll just keep me there.

My main is Orianna but she never really spikes in my experience, she just kind of maintains crazy damage throughout the game with a slight downturn during lategame or a major downturn if the enemy team decides to stack MR. You have so many options if you're building MR and comparatively very few options if you're against it (assuming you didn't bring magic pen runes), it's frustrating.

Botlane is the hardest lane (not factoring in the map control mid and jungle have to do) to play on a strictly lane opponent even-strength basis, especially in pubs.

Vayne is really powerful right now for example, but she needs good team to do anything, especially in lane she needs good support or horrible positioning by the enemies to have any chance of scoring a kill or getting away from dangerous engages.

She's good to climb because she can 1v5 in ult unless cc-locked ASAP, and even outside of ult she's a huge treat, has displacement-stun on her basic ability, mad true damage steroid and can out-duel a lot of people which is rare for adc.
If you aren't playing with complete braindeads who feed her AND don't focus her - she needs team to peel and to do anything basically. Yes, her weakness is in lane, that's why I said she needs good support to not fall flat on her face and be relegated to farmbot for the rest of the game.
