Why do people say Zero is better? There's barely any cutscenes, much less characters, shorter story, and pretty much the same gameplay. Soundtrack is arguable but IMO 5 has it beat in that too.

Personally I really want to see a friendly airborne carrier. A) It'd be cool to see some superweapon bullshit on our side for a change, and B) having a base that can follow you into battle sounds cool, and C) doing mid-air landings/takeoffs for resupply sounds badass.

God I'd love to see a high-altitude low-gravity fight. Given the way they've been focusing on atmospheric effects and weather, I think it could be done - your controls would probably at least be more sluggish, or you'd stall out easier, or something like that. I can see it being a dreamy sequence that has plenty of tension just for how strange it would feel the first time.

I hope that the soundtrack for the new game will be able to live up to the standards set by its forbearers. I honestly have trouble thinking of any other game that is capable of matching this series. In fact, I would say the score is equal to those of many summer blockbusters.

Not really. Getting gold boxes, and on top of that, boxes with fuel is so random, there's no reliable way to farm. There's no way to guarantee a return on the fuel you spend trying to get boxes with fuel.

I don't know man the song lyrics and all the pilots singing and whistling it on the radio, your foes becoming your allies.
It was a very powerful moment for me.

On the last mission when Ofnir and Grabacr come back to try and kill you while Winter Storm plays is also a very nice moment.

Honestly Ace Combat 5 was the strongest AC game in terms of emotional moments IMO. Yes ACZ has the great Hey buddy moments but AC5 made me emotional a lot more.

I'm a grown ass man, and here I am getting teary eyed over some virtual fighter pilots becoming friends after being at war...

I think it's pretty good, yeah. It's got stats WAY higher than anything you have at the start of the game. To get the burst missile you need to get the Morgan to level 4.

Another Morgan variant is the generic version, which is acquired through the plane tree. It's going to take a metric shit ton of work to get it from where you are. Go find it on the tree and see for yourself.

The last and least appealing Morgan variant is a prototype version you can get off the ticket store for 120 tickets. Its stats are hot garbage, it's a complete waste of tickets.

If you get the Pixy Morgan, you'll be just fine.
