Funny thing is only newfags and people who hasnt played the patch complain, my friends kept talking about how stupid 7.00 was until they played it and realized it is still dota except there is more to do. Farming was not really nerfed, you just have more to do and thus need better timing, as an offlaner you can rotate from leeching the lane to taking the rune/farming the jungle. As safelaner support you can pull, take the rune or just harass, if youre a carry you can choose to join an early fight while waiting for the jungle to respawn.

Shrines are causing people to realize how convenient is to communicate.

Okay, I have a question. I'm 2k MMR (not entirely my fault, believe it or not, cause I calibrated literally three years ago when I really didn't know what I was doing and then I never played ranked again until about a week ago) and I don't understand how I should be supporting these people.

These are people who will pick all carries when I'm hovering over broodmother and saying 'i am going to pick brood last, pick supports' and then flame me when I do what I say I'm going to do all along. I don't mind playing support but even when I do I don't get how to play with these people. For instance if the courier is busy I'll drop my wards in the fountain and ping them, and then the next time I spawn there'll be like five sets of wards laying all over the spawn, even if people have empty slots. I just don't get it. People will go in on the most retarded dives and then flame me for not going in to die with them, people will never buy dust or sentries or anything even if they have slots and even if Riki or Slark are literally the only thing holding the enemy team together.

I see people meme about 'oh in that bracket just pick carries' but is that actually what I'm supposed to do? Give me support tips because I just don't get it.

Yes, also picking mid is better because you're usually one versus one and can dominate the lane then dominate the game. Offlane is fine if you pick timber, void, weaver something that can carry. You can first pick and probably should, so you get your lane, counters aren't that scary in this bracket. This is all assuming you're actually better than a 2k player even being 4k should be enough to climb fast.

If you want to support your way out, don't pick cuck supports. Seriously. Oracle and dazzle skillsets are wasted on retards. Pick kill supports or ones who scale (spirit breaker, pudge, venge, slardar). Supports that are kinda ganky, kinda supporty (CM, Rubick) can work, but at low mmrs, people use the early game to farm. There's rarely pre 10 min rotations or smokes or pushes like 5k+. A good support will set up a kill that turns into a tower push that lets them get a deep ward down that turns into another kill, but that won't happen at low mmr.

Alternatively, pick a ratter or jungler. People are clueless when it comes to punishing (but beware the odd bounty hunter/earth spirit pick to punish you).

I'm on the upper end of that bracket, and though I haven't used it to climb, I have quite high win rates with high impact heroes like Silencer, Enigma, Tidehunter etc. I know some people say don't pick teamfight heroes because then you're relying on your team, but unless your team is actually incredibly beyond imaginably stupid (in which case picking an autistic solo carry is also not reliable), picking those kind of heroes are good because if you're truly the best there, and you have a high impact hero, then you should have the greatest positive impact your team has.

Axe and Slardar are also good though I do not play those heroes, if you're better than your opponents and teammates, you should be able to catch your opponents off guard since most of the heroes I've mentioned feed off of stupid positioning, which is rampant among the 2k bracket

What do I do if I have a fairly bad early game as a roamer? Sometimes vs heroes with good escapes or with good enemy support rotations I get underleveled and shit. Do I look for a counter gank? Pull? Iron talon and jungle? Or keep attempting ganks?

In the Grand Finals we had some super exciting games, that left me on the edge of my seat, and when all is said(played) and done, the winner gets to grab a trophy, gets 3 minutes of applause, a rushed interview, and then its over.

I feel like there is no room for the team to really enjoy the win with their fans. The next thing is, that the loser of the finals is sent off without any further notice, and that is actually what bothers me the most.

This team came second, they also deserve some spotlight and some cheering from the crowd, but they are totally disregarded by the tournament. (at least thats how I perceive it) And I also think that not even acknowleging the team that came second is not healthy in a competitive environment.

In most discussions here it is either you won some LAN/Major/Ti or you are trash, even if you are consistently placing high in tournaments (apart from eg, and famous 2. Place c9), so at least giving spotlight to top teams would hopefully resolve that.

Here is the thing: Its a really cool gimmick
But it requires you to:
1. Invest into a Blademail and Aghs
2. Press Ulti And Blademail to counter initate the enemies teams aoe burst, as they start casting them
3. Enemy team to have aoe burst heroes. I.E Tinker, Sven, Invoker, etc, etc
4. Your team is durable enough, for the extra 2x EHP to matter once Ulti runs out.
Otherwise its just Sven/Tinker being dead, and your team is at 10% remaining HP and dying from teamfight end

But here is the catch: You can still fuck up, and cast it too early. Or too late.
It also means you invested 6k gold into counterinitation, and then still being a Megacreep once the ulti has done its thing.
