I haven't been able to roll either so I defaulted to putting Skill damage on my 2kat because 21% more skill damage is better than either of those considering you're supposed to be using skills more often than your quit attacks.

There's an odd bell curve to this kind of game.

Having played multiple thousands of hours of both souls, and gaiden games, I feel I have the right to mention this.

At the far left, we have the complete scrubs who use any tactic they can to get through a level. In the middle, the most people, lie those who think it's important to not summon the first time through. Then there's the far right, who have played so much of the game that they just see co-op as fun, not as a way of advancing through levels, because that is of no issue to begin with.

The real point is, just learn to enjoy the game. Placing self worth into how you play a video game is a slippery slope that generally isolates a person.

Maybe if I can stack electrified and scorched bonus from WotW and Memedemon sets but even then I feel like it's going to ride more on my physical output.

Hopefully the DLC will add an Onmyo-focused set similar to the Iga set for Ninjutsu. Also maybe an offensive magic guardian spirit that doesn't suck dick. The turtle is cool and all but it's definitely defense oriented.

Stats won't hurt you too much early game, they kind of go up and down in softcap, meaning they give good meaning up to like 12, then don't do much till like 20, then start paying out again.

For Kusarigama I highly recommend dumping points into dex. Also leveling spirit is a good idea to help proc living weapon and unlock your spirit passives. The highest you'll need in spirit is 25.

I personally went for a ninja build so I use light armor. A secondary weapon from kusarigama I Would pick something safe like 1kat that's easy to use. Get a feel for the weapons. Otherwise just go through NG and think more on your build for NG+

I use 1kat and usually go with mid. But for dwellers and other small enemies I switch to low. For big enemies I tend to go with high stance since I usually hit them once before evading them so no need to block.
