Igni is the latest addition, crafted it a game ago, you can put any solid gold in there and it will work.

The only bad matchup is Dworfs and I haven't seen them in a while, it's mostly Discard Skellige with occasional Weather Monsters, Consume Monsters or Radovid.

Not sending GG to weather decks should still be enforced at all times.
You cannot defend a deck that literally forces every other deck to carry at least 1 shitty First Light card that doesnt even get rid of all the weather effects at once.

Vilgefortz is pretty core in all MILF decks. Make sure to get Roach at some point too. Roch + Vilge = VALUE TOWN

Igni is decent, but it's not run in THAT many decks. It's good, but Vilgefortz is better.

Radovid commander, Phillipa, all wounding units like Sile, Scorch, Alzur, etc. The only way to reliably beat Mad Rad Control is to also play Mad Rad Control but get a better starting hand.

There are full, or nearly so, Mad Rad decks at Rank 1.

they're not so bad, can reliably get to 11 or higher, the issue is mainly drawing into donar/birna at the wrong time, I don't know how he managed his insane win streak through rank 14 with this deck, he is a better player than me and he can sequence it better but I also think the streak relied on people not being as familiar with discard SK since it had gone away for a long time and it was close to the patch time when he played it I think

It's pretty clear that NR needs to be reworked entirely aside from promotion.

One thing I could imagine is bringing back Tight Bond as an NR exclusive mechanic in some form with the positioning patch.

Example: as long as the three temerian Footsoldiers are placed next to each other they get a strength bonus, or a shield, or resilience, or weather immunity, basically anything. It doesn't even always have to be strength bonusses. That also makes placing spies more strategic as you can then disrupt the tight bond by placing a spy between the footsoldiers.

That would be really neat and open tons of design options for cards imo. What do you guys think?

Yeah but sometimes you know what card is and can't do anything about it because of Shiryu being an scorch on your side and not the entire board or Ida only affecting the opponent side or the only defense against Toruviel being weathering the row.

The only time I won against a Toruviel buffed to hell and back by a ST player was when I basically just said fuck it and passed when I still had 2 cards left (one being an operated Toruviel) and basically gamble that Toruviel will trigger before the double Borkh scorch. Shit was fantastic to see both Toruviel being burned but other than that is basically impossible to deal with them unless you are running monster weather decks.

Players don't know what to do against her and panic. I just had a match in ranked (4k MMR) against a ST player, last turn of round 2. No more cards for each, I had the semen demon and he had Eithne and I won round 1. We were tied and he had 2 Defenders buffed to 11 each and I had my Neker army already in the board (meaning no Nekker army for round 3). I tried to work around Geralt Igni and fucked up my own board but then I though that in panic he would bounce the semen demon back to me and give me the win. And the retard did it. If he just passed I would have lost since the semen Demon wouldn't have triggered anyway since I was already out of cards and to trigger the opponent side has to play 2 cards at least (or one and pass).

Depends on your preferred faction and meme decks. I LOVE THE SEMEN DEMON, she is the ultimate meme against buffing factions. Phillipa used to be God tier and now nobody remembers the Age of Phillipa (maybe someone will take her in again thanks to all the row stacking most decks are getting away with). Letho is currently a counter meta card that works great in an offensive or defensive way.

But based on the current meta I would go for Letho and build a NG deck or Nithral and go for a weather deck.

I have to agree. I have most cards in the game already and I will be hit hard by the wipe but the amount of free kegs and scraps you get from the game is insane. And I build most of it when the game didn't gave you shit for losing a match and all you got was the scraps from the GG.

I think than a really bad player could craft a legendary in a week or less even with only doing the first level of dailies (not even the 4 levels) and getting enough scraps and ore from GGs and general games played that you can start building a decent deck in a week or so.
