Now THAT is board control that common roach decks do not have and you have to spend evolves that get you 2-for-1 or worse 1-for-1. The OTK roach cannot afford the chance of a gobbu pulling a fucking water fairy and getting OTK before the 9th turn at best. Must be nice for shitters that reached masters with daria and think they know any better.

Stats can be deceiving. Shadowlog would tell you shadow is terrible but they have a 70% winrate vs dragon. Daria has a similar issue. Daria wins every single matchup except against decks that are specifically built to beat Daria. None of those decks have good winrates overall either. In order to beat Daria, you have to lose to most other decks.

Doesn't help that a bad matchup for Daria is like 45% win rate while a bad matchup for a Daria counter can be 30-40%.

To be fair if forest isn't so overbearing and oppressive those Daria counter decks could thrive. Part of the issue right now is you either play Daria, play Roach, or play a counter to one and automatically lose to the other.

The Daria counters still might lose to Ramp Dragon but if there's a good mix of other aggro decks mixed in then they'll keep on playing it and even the Dragon matchup is beatable if they don't draw Satan early on.

Yeah this is something I realized pretty quickly, I had much better results ignoring Daria and winning versus the other stuff than giving a fuck about that deck. The thing about that nerf is that Daria will take a good hit when going second versus follower centered decks (mid-range in general, control Sword, etc), that alone can help other decks to be better, but Gobu is also getting a hit so maybe c-Blood can dig out of its grave.
Honestly, as long as Daria keeps her win rates on a reasonable level I'm completely ok with her existing and appeasing the hearthstone audience.
