A lot of characters can go into V-trigger from three framers. Being able to mix you up mid combo is Balrogs thing, and you can hit him out of it if you are mashing/ready for it.

Tag 2 has a ton of Tag 2 specific shit you need to master to be really good at the game (hence >>169090203), but as far as frame data and movelists go it's closer to T7 (hence >>169089493). I have two things for you

Make the AI so that it can't react faster than 160-200 milliseconds which is similar to human reaction time and then make a tutorial mode where the player starts fullscreen from a zoner character, and the player's goal is to get in on the zoner within a time limit and land a single hit, and harder versions of this tutorial will involve the player landing one hit on the zoner and then going into a combo from it to complete the challenge

alternatively make the player play a zoner and force them to stay rooted in one spot and try to keep an AI from getting to them for a certain amount of time

this will help new players improve at getting in on zoners, which seems to be the hardest playstyle for new players to deal with
