I didn't mention dragon because I feel like it shoudl be discussed a bit. I think dragon will be a lot more relavent because of midrange and tempo forest becoming a thing. Those matchups will probably be in dragons favor, except for midsword on 9 as alberto can burst for 10. Then again owl cucks sword, so it'll probably be the only even matchup in midrange for dragon. To be honest I have no idea. as I don't have a dragon deck to actually give good critism on it. I can only say dragon is strong and relevant.

Alright, so you'll want to play the non-storm variant. This means no forte or genesis are not needed nor should they be ran.

You could put in Impieral Dragoon as a 1-of to compliment your Baha. I can't vouch for crafting him though. You put in cards to either deal with the Daria matchup or the Roach matchup. I would recommend going for the Daria matchup more.

Daria matchup to my knowledge is more board control and healing angels. Roachers matchup is just more giant wards. You'll want Odins as well to deal with seraph and the mirror since you can't storm them down. I'm sure there's a better dragon player who can offer better widsom than me.

Storm Haven was already coming back, and Daria was the least of its bad MUs: it was perfectly reasonable to race Daria down, and running a Themis + multiple Lion Spirits provided a backup plan. It's obviously getting even stronger now due to the increase in Ramp and due to that Control will tech more clears and less wards, but it was already tier 2 as is.

I'd rather be on the lookout for Control Blood's return. The deck was very strong in the early meta when Roach lists weren't popular/developed, but Daria was still everywhere.

I wish, I only got one spire and no flutes despite drawing DE for a month so I've just been dicking around with the one spire when I draw it in unranked as a pseudo-polyphonic. Remember you can draconification both your own shit and stuff like morde/khawy, You can play wyrm spire on t4 if you emissary it which you can guarantee the draw. Serpent's force gives you another 3/3 reach on top of evo turning 4/5 into 9/10 face

it can be frustating, but I tend to go on big winstreaks vs favored matchups like Dshift, Dragon of any kind, Darias with bad draws and Roach without turn 3 ancient elf

Control Blood is autoconcede - don't bother trying too hard - they'll just heal while removing your board
Control Sword can also be hard to win, depends on amount of wards

Generally I like playing control more because I feel it gives more room for error but I still lack some cards to make my Ramp and Sword decks really good instead of mediocre

No, I mean the card Dimension Shift itself.
I think it's a very bad card for the game. Fighting against DShift if you're not aggro basically means hoping they draw poorly. And nothing else. Sure you can try not to play creatures if you're control, but that approach gets less viable as DShift gets more tools every expansion.
I would argue spellboost reducing costs is just a bad mechanic overall. Since you can't interact with the opponent's hand in any way, shape, or form, you have no way to stop anything they're doing. It makes luck the single most important aspect when playing both as and against Runecraft, which fucking sucks.
