Dshift and Control shit on every other control deck, yet on top of that Haven also shits extra hard exclusively on Shadow. Cuckgel and Scripture are really bad for shadow because they deny the usage of their fucking craft ability on top of the usual removal every other class gets.

I hope they make a class that specializes on preventing amulets activation and then see how you'll feel.

I'm on a huge loss streak with Daria Rune at the moment and I'm not sure why. First time playing the deck but I have no idea if I'm misplaying or just getting massively unlucky.

I'm mulliganing everything but Daria and vs aggro I'll keep Emmylou. I'm going full aggro against control aside from priority targets which I kinda need to kill and vs aggro I'm trading but still get run down very fast.

I do play the shit out of Roach, it's my favorite deck. One Roach is not enough most of the time. You need 1 Roach 2 bounce, or 2 Roach 1 bounce to have enough damage.

The nerf to Gobu means that Roach has to either forsake their 1-drop to get guaranteed tutor, OR change the structure of their deck to play a more tempo/control game to stall out until they draw combo. This means Roach can no longer consistently kill by turn 8 any more, games will have to go a bit longer than that to assemble the combo pieces.
The nerfs hit Roach very hard.

The deck is still strong you retards, we're debating whether it'll be the unstoppanle force it was at the start of the expansion. It already consistently lost to Dragon and control Havens for the last couple of weeks. Now I can see it dropping to tier 2. It'll be the best of tier 2 by far, and might even just remain 1, but be a generic 50 to 52% tier 1, rather than the bullshit 55%+ it was. You don't understand just how crucial slowing the deck by aturn against control is, and Piercing Rune to 2 accomplishes just that. Hell, aggro Blood might just come back thanks to the turn 4 Daria power play nerf, OTK roach being removed, and D.Shift coming in force to counter control, and aggro Blood will definitely be favored against the new slower Daria.

Most of the things people have bitched about, ie. Levi and Piercing Rune, are used in all Rune decks. Yet Daria is the only Rune deck that is tier 1, meaning that for all these cards contribute to Daria's game plan, they are not at the core of the issue. To say otherwise is ignoring statistics both new and old.

If we're to assume that touching the boss card and face of the deck is taboo, then you should go after key support cards that aren't used in any other Rune deck, ie. Clarke.

Cygames has made their choice, though. We'll see how much it bites them in the ass.

Dshift only has favorable win rates at the Master Rank. This has nothing to do with AA and below being especially bad at the game; it's an issue of the play environment. Masters is a perpetual Control circle jerk, because it's the only way to answer the titans of the format without playing those decks yourself. Add Daria bullying midrange out of existence, and Dshift gains a niche that does not otherwise exist on the ladder or in any tournament environment. It loses to aggro, it loses to midrange, it loses to faster combo decks... it's just awful on a general level, impossible to use as a climbing option. And it's only going to get worse in the coming weeks as we see a resurgence of aggro and midrange decks due to the actual top tier decks being curtailed.
