The best way to fix the IV problem is to allow a reroll at level 40. Every time you hit 40 you can reroll but you would have to hit 40 before you can reroll IVs again. This gives whales more shit to do, f2p players a better chance to compete at higher levels, and opens up the option for higher xp castle upgrades. Everybody wins.

If they gave you an indication on when they would appear(without reading a guide), like maybe a "enemy reinforcements in 3 turns" from a Scout warning it would be sort of fun.

Reinforcements really are one of RD's weakest points. A lot of chapters just drown you in them, I think even a couple of rout chapters do. It's already a long game, endless reinforcements just make it rather tedious.

Yeah, Radiant Dawn has been great so far aside from the reinforcement thing. Unlike the last game, gameplay-wise none of the units feel like they're being carried. Each one can find it's own use if you place enough effort into training them.

Story-wise has been pretty awesome, aside from Micaiah's hypocrisy and Sothe's constant bitching, watching them save Daein was fun. Elincia BTFOing libtard rebels who rather go to war with those meanie Daein people than to make peace and get on with their lives was also fun, especially when Ike's crew appeared.

You can soften the blow a bit by marrying someone really strong to your Thief. For example, (I don't know if this is a possible pairing but) Sety x Patty lets him rape the Arena at the start of the chapter, throw the money over to Patty because he doesn't need it, then let Patty give it to Corple so he can spam revivals.

Definitely harder in the first gen since Sigurd is your strongest and you don't want to fuck up your kids, but Arya x Dew is probably not THAT terrible and she destroys the arena too.

Easiest, most foolproof method is to go to level up, find the value representing the level, and then modify it to something absurd like 75. Then scroll down around until you encounter a glitched value that lets you "confirm" the level. Reset the game, and the character will be at level 1 with dumb amounts of sp and crystals.
