Thanaton's whole deal is fucking retarded, every objective in chapter two is a pointless mistake you spend most of chapter 3 trying to cure, and there are more awful planets than okay-ish ones left to do...

Did they get a whole new group of writers between chapters one and two? Not every class story has such a drastic downturn in quality as Inq, but they all get noticeably worse with missed opportunities, dangling plot threads and chaff-filled mazes for missions.

Is there a way to get a real grasp of how TOR continues on from KOTOR 2 without getting into the MMO trend of end game raids and gear farming and all those other things?

Or does the regular process of trying to hit the level cap do a good enough job?

Unlike the other apprentices, who take the learning from the PC and develop as characters in their role, she remains the same, with her interactions being mostly flirting or random conversation with the JK.

Asking Jaesa to be nuanced is like asking Tharan to be not a creep with a virtual waifu. It's a key part of her character that she's autistically reaching for an ideology she can commit to and believe in, having been hurt by the lies behind each of her previous lives (Alderaan court, Nomen Carr).

Find them examples of Dark side revering cultures that are content to let people be as they are, and I'll concede this point.
