I've found this applies to other games, also. Had a Master and Silver friend in League playing together. That wasn't pretty. Also a named gladiator and 1400 player.

I'll likely give it another go soon. The thing is I did all my placements during the weekend last time and people said to avoid them during that time. And during the weekdays, I'm just too tired from work. I always played more Warriors than any other role. I feel so comfortable and people tend to follow me.

But yeah, I'd love to be better, it is just proving to be surprisingly difficult. HOTS may be a brain dead game for ya'll, but I've been playing since Butcher came out and am still bouncing between Gold and Silver QM MMR.

I love the game though and I wouldn't mind being better. Honestly, though, at my MMR, being better is mainly sticking to team and trying to shotcall before bad ideas pop up.

You might want to watch pro games too. They learn you a lot about shotcalling and that's real impactful for warriors since like you said your team tends to follow you. Give it a try maybe you like them.

Games on the weekends are bad but I don't think that applies much to lower ranks. I might be wrong.

There is a lot to learn. When to splitpush, when to invade, when to play safe and back up, how to play safe and what to do when the enemy team wins an objective.

If you don't like watching you shouldn't force yourself but it won't hurt to check it out. Maybe you'll like it. I have a blast every time I watch a good team play.

And it made me a lot better. Currently I'm between masters and gm. My mechanics aren't very good, neither are my reflexes but my shotcalling and map awareness is what carries me and I learned that from pro games.

If you have no good clone target, your draft is beyond retarded. Also if monstrocity works, the opposing team is bad. It's an extremely easy heroic to counter. Issue is, most people ignore it because "lul bad ult! xD" but then it's fat and can 1v1 just about anyone and win.

Varian, Q at level 1, Taunt at level 10 is basically Johanna with slightly less wave clear but can do single target damage.
If you want to be more like Johanna, you take Protect and Lower Cooldown on parry at 4 and 7, but they're not always the optimal picks.

Valeera has an option for nearly every circumstance after 13
Gul'dan's damage output is godlike
Horrify is perhaps the best CC in the game

I want to see them implement the unique structural junk he can do in SC2 co-op. It would differentiate him from other specialists in just being a generic minionmancer that pushes towers. Like for his ult or trait he could have his infestation move where he pops it on an allied fort and it starts rapidly healing while spewing out little minions, or could use it on an enemy fort to disable it while also popping out little broodlings. It's a cool skill that they could really just port over exactly how it works in SC and it would be great.
