As far as I can tell, it's really a case of old normal spellcasting magic damage jobs are beat at their own game by Autima(king of spellcasting), Zain(mr. "I cast death with my sword") and collab spellcasters. Since they either also do other things and/or cast faster/no cast times, etc.

In the case of impossibly high p.def enemies, you can prepare def-ignore stuff like Machinery's Dynamic Buster Bomb in place of magic damage too.

So, you can probably skip maxing Wiseman unless you really need someone to deal magic damage. Just level it for some passives or the subskill for when you might need it.

I find that Heimdall's special doesn't do much on most connect battles ever since they nerfed it. I'd rather have a little extra damage and the ability to block both physical and magic damage on herself unless it's a battle with physical AoE damage. Being a dwarf is also good for being immune to many special attack status effects, but that's an arena/onslaught thing. Ultimately you can do fine with either one as long as you have some decent gear for them.

Now you cant B rank 2* childs for 600 onyx per one, which means you cant get a lot of gold -> limited 2* leveling for gems, limited amount of gold chests. Also they removed friend coins from gold chests(those could give you fair amount of gems aswell on daily basis).

This way you were able to farm forever, from friend medals you could easily do 1k+ gems per day, if you did it all day then probably close to 1.5~2k, and from maxing 2*s more 1k~2k, so even if you only did it for some hours per day doing at least an extra 2k gems was pretty easy, but now not only you can't get 2* to B with only 600 onyx they also removed friend medal from gold chest.

It's going to months before you can beat Extra stages. Just the way the game is. Think of it like farming a pool in GBF but instead you're farming 3 shards a day and you need 150+ of them

Once you get an overpowered unit with high damage AOE skill. You may also want to get a backup attacker and a tanky unit but you'll probably pick up them along the way as you play. If you are going to ticket both the starter and 1 gem, that's probably all you need.

After this, roll every heavy discount 10-rolls (500 gems or less) you can. This will get you some upgradable 4* units that are absolutely fantastic. Ignore every other gacha. Never roll the 1500 or 2500s, even if you need the items. Farm them instead as you have a bunch of AP that you'll probably waste at the start.

Fully upgrade your OP units (use gem to purchase their job items if you have to), upgrade your Logy MC unit - he is a fine tank now, and make a team that can clear most EXTRA event stages with a decent friend unit. You will have a bunch of 5*s before you know it. Hoard all of your gems until you find the unit you want so you can get her to 15 LB to open up all jobs. With the current trend, almost every new unit needs that third job unlocked to be competitive with what you have started with.

Nozomi and Subaru won't be useful to you until you get weapons for them, but keep Nozomi in the party for the -1 combo. She could even hold all of your event cards while you put your strong stuff on Kurumi. Shiho is quick but kinda weak. Michelle's skill will allow you to ignore enemy resistances for guns, so that'll be useful later, plus it's adorable. Kurumi will be the easiest to use and is best suited for the event.

I am curious how V3 of CCJP is. I stuck with that game for almost 2 years, hoarded enough prysma and tickets and blew my entire load on Phoena's sister when she became recruitable and managed to MLB her in something like 140 pulls.

It's decent, you can now teach characters other character skills to alter their kit a bit story of V3 takes place about two years after V2 and introduces a whole new cast that's (when I played) split between different regions,they don't meet each other but their plot is going at the same time. Also you can acess V3 pretty much from the start of the game unlike with V2, where you had to beat entire V1 to get there, pretty much doubling your prysma gain for some time
It's good and the game kept me entertained for about two months, but I dropped it

I think 2 gacha tickets and a few prysma. Also 1 ticket from collab quest. Finishing V3 story on easy difficulty and missions should give at least 100 prysma.

Pulling 30 times on Konosuba collab banner gives red ticket which guaranteed one of the SSR. Doing medium difficulty or V1 and V2 quest should give you the remaining prysma needed. Just use a strong friend units.
