Anyone else underwhelmed by the effect of the Valentine's chocolates in BHGS? They hyped it up like something really special was going to happen, but all we got were single still images of texts from the girls to sensei about the chocolates; not even voiced. They did give a huge boost to event points, but it only lasted for the day.

Spica is a great light lead so you could get Suzuka as another light DPS. I'd highly recommend spending $1 to ticket Zain or Autima though, both would help tremendously at the cost of being a >guy

In case you're getting the wrong idea, the 28 day login ticket is a roll ticket not a select ticket.

You cooould skip Veteru, if you can secure Zain, though Veteru at 65 is still going to out-tank Zain until Zain gets all his jobs and that's going to be a very long term thing without cash. It just so happens that Zain is also a freaking killer.

Looks like you have a good support lineup waiting in your 4*s too, so you can just properly build them. You'll want to invest in Rofia(bottom right water girl in first page) quickly at least.

Suzuka doesn't sound like a bad idea if you rather not go for Veteru or any dudes. Just be sure not to over-invest in her Samurai job and wait for Ninja.

Most of the time you'll want a team that can either cover each other or just mop up the stage quickly.

Taking advantage of the element atk up Leader Skills is good, just that you won't always have the right people fully take advantage of it especially early on when a lot of the good roles across elements want their 3rd jobs.

EX/Extra stages will often want you to bring specific element attackers to kill targets, so eventually you'll want really strong people across multiple elements.

Necromancer girl is pretty good. Necromancer has this weird advantage of being able to attack things despite height differences that would stop most other melee units. Also is a debuffer. Also 4* dark ninja girl in the second page is good too.

Zahar, edgy-looking dude there is the fragile attacker type. Investable for the high attack passive stacking and nice but risky skills on the third job, but I myself haven't really made much use of the Dark Knight-types except stuffing its passive into another job. It seems like he's been surpassed by Anastasia now among the non-limiteds anyway. Dat great Midorikawa voice tho.

How'd you do her health so quick, both her attacks she got on me did 30k so you'd need a mitigation / heal before 100 or just crazy ass damage. I immediately stalled out on the dark computer guy because I wanted to be greedy in holding my actives so I could've come into her with more. I just don't see how I could kill her honestly, I'll level up summer idol and try again with NY Napoleon friend once he's refreshed and see. Either use him or Akito since I have a ton of akito friends and it'd pair well so I don't chain myself out with NY Napoleon.

Timing of the actives is important. Activating kindergarten guy and Napoleon at the right time are probably key factors. I think Akito would be a better pair because the idol also has a chain up until the boss.

The fuckboi on the 8th battle reduces your chains after a while you may want that so you won't reach 100 too soon.

It's pretty much the new meta that completely broke the game, to the point that MW will have a hard time ever fixing it. Tap skills pretty much break any story boss or older events in two, are a great help on Kino/8bit bosses and some of the toughest new challenges don't really hide the fact that they are nigh-unbeatable or unbeatable without them.

Palpa^ is probably the tip of the iceberg, since she's only good for her Atk Tap. Every other unit providing an offensive one (Gatz^ says hello) almost instantly skyrockets to top tier status because of taps alone.

Tried again with Napoleon lead instead with NY Napoleon friend again and with the gravity alone it made such a ridiculous difference. Better timing with chains too thanks to Nozomi let me refresh my 100 chain and extend others. If she'd be your first Z-mage, then your first Z-mage and Leviathan^ are arguably both pretty vital and overall useful. Hard to argue for one over the other, especially when both can be considered "trainer" units that could support each other.

If you already have a Z, then Leviathan, easily.
If you have a Dragon companion, go with Zerro first.
Otherwise I'd go with Levi over Zerro if you've got other recodes up and ready and with Zerro over Levi if this'll be your only recode for now.

No, right now there's 3 discounted 500 gem gachas(500 for 10 roll as opposed to 2500, this is one time only),one 365 discount gacha and the Sacred Stone banner
Here's what you could do in my opinion

>after tutorial, click the jar button in town, that's shop, buy something cheap form the first section of the shop, after that look at the mission/achievement screen(open the monu on the right while in town and it's going to be a piece of paper), get any freebies from there, it should also include some more gems because iirc there's a mission to buy literally anything from shop, there's also a mission that will open up twitter, you can just turn that off and you still get the reward(250 gems)
Now you should have around 1700 gems, it is up to you if you just want to roll the discounted draws first, but if you want the broken characters, do single draws on the sacred stone gacha and hope for Zain or Autima,refer to this

I got tricked by teams and videos like these when I started granblue.

The people shilling granblue were like "Here's some videos of people doing EX+ bosses with R characters!" so you think that the game must be super generous and easy for F2P players but when you're deep in the game you realize its all a huge lie because to do that you'd need autistic levels of grinding and in the end it doesnt even matter because the boss he was killing in the video needs to be killed in the fastest time possible so R characters are absolutely out of the question except for the challenge/novelty of it.

So the real question here is, how much grinding did it take him to get to that point? And how much money did it take him to get there?
Notice the first video has him with 30k gems and all the characters hypermaxed so he's not exactly your average guy. The second one doesnt have a massive amount of gems but the same deal still applies there.

Eventually you'll get there with grinding, like how a new player starting in Granblue will eventually be able to clear all the raids and feel good about it but then you'll want to feel like you're carrying your weight or carrying other people and realize the only way to do it is to follow the meta stuff or you'll never catch up to the players that do.

Now that I've done a few rolls, what should I be using? What do I do with all the dupes if they aren't worth limit breaking?

For dupes what I do is complete the sets for free jewels first, grind the 3*s for affection and save the bad 4* for evolution fodder.

I would probably go

Row 1 slot 1 - Astaroth
Row 2 slot 3 - Artemis (best 4* attacker)
Row 3 slot 3 as a temporary tank
Row 3 slot 4 - Fenrir (end game bleed unit when you +6 him)
Row 3 slot 5 as a temporary healer

I don't know what you mean by 'good.' Pretty much all N5/N6 tanks are good. Stat wise she's actually worse than other N5 SPG's, but she has access to HESH, if that's your ammo of choice. She's also a top tier cutie.
