I think it says in the description the level range of mobs the crit works on. It does stop at 65, and at that point the new weapons you obtain from dungeons also have much more attack modifier.

Haven't played this game in a long time. Are all endgame dungeon loot still BoP meaning that there's no reason to keep running them once you've gotten your shit? How is (NA, though other regions matter for it surviving) Tera doing, really? Forums and twitch streams around the game seem dead and so does the community in general, at least from what I've seen.
It's unfortunate because whenever I want to play another MMO or take a break from my current one, Tera always comes to mind, but I can't justify "wasting" time on a game that's old with an uncertain future.
I know all games stop eventually, but other games seem like they'd at least last longer, or long enough for me to move on.

Tera always dies down at the halfway point in its major content cycle. There's never enough shit to do, so people inevitably leave until the new content cycle starts. We're at that time now, which is part of why very few people seem to care about this game at the moment. In the past, the publisher Enmasse Entertainment (EME) would hold a lot of events to keep people playing during these content droughts, but recently ... not so much. To their credit, they just, finally, released an event that got people a little excited for the game, but it's easy to burn out on it since it's one thing to do and it just involves spamming more of the same dungeons you've already spammed. That is the problem with this game. There's just not enough fluff, not enough fat. They keep trying to trim the fat, but now all we have is a skeleton.
Combat's still pretty nice. It's the game's only saving grace at this point. But if you can accustom yourself to another game's combat, then don't even look back to tera. There's no point "investing" your time into a game that has server stability issues every day, a dying population, and a dollars to gold system that allows anyone with real life cash to just buy power on the broker. To top it off, EME doesn't even try anymore. It took them nearly a month of people quitting left and right before they threw players a bone and gave them a decent event. Everything before that was cash shop sales and more excuses to grind singular instanced dungeons. They're almost worse than Gameforge at this point.
