If you're used to the USN Standard BB gameplay, the Colorado will feel just fine if not better.

Just skip the A Hull. It has shit AP shells and the dispersion is worse. The B and C Hull feel like a completely different ship. Fantastic dispersion and accuracy, AP that cap penetrate most ships and fantastic AA just short of the NC (C Hull).

Never go alone. Always make sure you have cruiser/destroyer escorts to spot for you or provide AA. Hang around 15km near the objective at the first few minutes of a match. Around 10 minutes, start moving closer to around 10km of an objective when more enemy ships are taken out. More like they're listening to the player base. Everyone has been asking for British BBs since the game was announced. Even RU wants RN BBs because the players are into military history and naval history and British Navy is a big part of it.
It's the PR department and the higher ups that think RU wants Russian ships. It's why we got a random Polish ship because the game is popular in Poland. It's also why the game got rushed out. Developers wanted to wait another year before release, execs wanted the game out asap. Which is why the game felt unfinished and rushed. It's also why the Soviet DD line felt rushed and all over the place which is why it's getting redone.
