Mogami was once so OP that they had to move it from tier 7 to 8. Then they also nerfed the shit out of it to the point where it'd be trash at tier 7 anyway. Your best bet will be sticking with the 15.5s and spamming at extreme range. Probably best to do it before they remove stealth fire.

It wasn't so painful as it was frustrating because it kept exploding when any battleship noticed me and I always felt I couldn't contribute enough to the team. I missed the flexibility I get when playing as a DD. In the latter part of the grind I managed to get the hang of it and learned how to use my teammates as shields while spamming HE everywhere.

Pretty much that. When it happens to me I just lock the guns in the position I will want them and wait the 30-40 seconds till it unfucks itself. I find if you change their rotation direction it resets the fucking and takes that much longer to return to use.

To be fair the Brit BB's were confirmed months ago. They will be coming as well, sooner than the French BB's will, just that magazine article finally confirms that French BB's will be coming this year. Its the same as last year with KM Cruisers being announce way ahead of KM Battleships. It was a bigger deal when we saw in that video that KM Battleships were being modeled, but the KM Cruisers still came out first. Gut says RN BB's will be out right around May, French around Late July, August or as late as Gamescom at worst.

Guys, i'm pretty new to the game (at tier IV and V now) and there is a mechanic i don't understand yet.

When i shoot from more than 15km my missiles hit from straight up in the sky almost. But ennemy ships shooting at me from the same distance have their missiles going much more horizontaly. This results in my missiles being widly spread when their missiles aren't and most of them hit me when only one or two of mine hit them.

Is there a key to control the trajectory of you missile or something ?

I can guarantee you that having to make up a few higher tier vehicles will not stop WG, just look at German cruisers.

And even for German CVs, a good portion of the tree is actually possible without resorting to sekrit dokuments.

t4 can be one of several CVL conversions, along the lines of

HE if and only if you can see their broadside. The 8" can't face pen anything and the normalization is awful. That said, if you catch the side of anything, including T9+ BB's (just aim for the upper belt) you can do SCARY damage fast. Most of the cits that match came in pairs or 3's.

All other times use HE. It does shit damage but it's at least reliable.

Oh... I thought you meant new to the Baltimore. In general, there is no reason to use HE in a BB as OverPens do as much damage as an HE round and at least a close miss with AP will still hit the target. In a CA/CL, switch ammo regularly pending on the situation. DD's w/ IFHE should never waste time on AP, w/o IPHE it can be useful but not as often. The only BB that makes HE work is the Bismark and FDG with IFHE, as they can face pen most enemy BB's, including the Iowa/NC since their HE pen is 1/4 as opposed to 1/6.

Bonus points for their smoke makes enemy torps harder to spot and the lack of flank spotting means enemy DDs get to free fire at me and I have to spend the entire match dodge torpedo attack instead of exploding CAs.
