I won't lie despite Wol being edgy as shit, I actually kind of like him as a character.

He's a cynical asshole all the time, always questioning what everyone tells him instead of just following like everyone else. But, at least the way it seems, he's not completely anime and seems to have actual thoughts despite how monotonous he talks and acts. It kind of surprises me what he says about Mog, even going as far as to say he regrets that he wasn't a true friend to him. Maybe I'm reading too far into it or making up shit, but he seems a lot less one dimensional than I originally thought he was when I started.

Also, do you sometimes just not absorb genomes at all?
I was trying to get Thundaja off Asmodeus thanks to Stillness and I just wouldn't get it, no matter how often I tried.
I know Stillness isn't blocking it, because I have absorbed Genomes in the past through it. Maybe the game has some sort of anti-cheese measures, since my party is only lvl 70 bs lvl 99 Asmodeus?

I'm at chapter 3 now, and Wol seems like the most reasonable guy in the world, next to Garland. He's plopped into a ruined world with no recollection of who he is, along with a ton of other people, and is basically entered into a huge competion to be the very best and beat Chaos. Everyone's talking about THE PROPHECY he has to follow, but nobody tells him shit until it's actually happening. He has to see the one creature he befriended sacrifice itself for him, which turns out to also be part of the prophecy, and Mog knew from the beginning it had to become his friend for the prophecy to take effect, leaving Wol unsure of how true that friendship even was.

He has every right to be cynical of people telling him what to do. He doesn't seem to mind the idea of becoming the Warrior of Light with his own strength, but he resents the idea of being mentally conditioned into it by others.

Is there any difference between Warrior/Mage/Ranger cards? I guess the type tends to correspond to what Extra Skills they have, but even that doesn't seem too consistent, and they all seem to do more or less the same thing. I've seen claims that matching the card's type with your job's type yields some bonus, but I'm pretty sure that's outdated since I can't find it in-game anywhere. Comparing, say, Bismarck/Undine/Siren they look virtually identical. Does it even matter which flavor I take as an Attacker in MP?

Some jobs have higher magic multiplier than others. So using a ninja to deal actual HP damage will take you a fuckton longer than a mage.
But likewise a mage will take a fuckton of time to deplete the red bar to be able to deal the heavy damage it can.

Extra skills are different. Debuff+damage cards like Phantom or Shemhazai aren't for every job type. Matching the card type with the job type lets your magic stat increase the ability's damage. If you're new and your magic is low, the difference isn't as noticable.

Some Legend jobs like Soldier 1st Class can unlock skill panels that allow them to apply their magic bonus to another job's cards. Soldier can make good use of Ranger cards.

Cidolfus Orlandeau is a character from Final Fantasy Tactics.
In FFBE, he is outrageously overpowered when wielding a light-elemental greatsword and paired with another Orlandeau wielding a light-elemental greatsword. This is a really simple question actually.

Are you autistic enough to reroll for a good start in BE? I don't mean this as an insult, but the game lends itself to some autistic grinding. If you can bear/don't mind the act of rerolling, then BE is a pretty cool game with some deeper min/max mechanics.

If the idea of rerolling for a good start is laughable to you, RK is more up your alley. It's a slow (but not unfun) start while you figure out the game itself, and after a while you've amassed a ton of mythril you can splurge and get some good stuff and have a relatively easy time with most content.

Dunno about the other points since I quit RK ages ago, but the UI is legit shit.
I can run stuff like BE/OO and other high end games without any problems on my phone but it was still laggy as hell to navigate through RK when I reinstalled to pull on TG Cid's banner. The optimization level is almost as bad as PoE.

As someone who has played both I can say overall RK is better then BE. Not that BE is a bad game, but it can be quite hard to enjoy sometimes especially recently with all the bad banners, events, and the need to reroll for hours to even be decent at the game. Ontop of that RK is more generous with giving out currency for pulling in GL and JP and their community is much more welcoming and helpful then the BE community.

So just play the dissidia mobage. :^)
