I grinded for the fight against Ronaldo, since his strong attacks and Vile range really fucked me over several times. I think I spent a good two hours just grinding and fusing there.

I did however do one free skirmish between each story mission, just because I like the fighting system and occasionally wanted to get everything from my new fusions unlocked.

Game about a half demon fighting other demons with heavy religious/mythical references in a moody but sometimes silly world. DMC is obviously more overtly silly but I can never see SMT as 100% grimdark super serious when there's so many silly designs and bits of dialogue. They're different games but I think they have enough in common that the crossover doesn't feel weird at all. If I didn't know about DMC's existence and played Nocturne I wouldn't think twice about his inclusion. I'd figure he was just a reinterpretation of Dante Alighieri.
I know it's mostly a meme at this point but I really like his inclusion, and I hope we get more like that at some point in the future. It'd just be hard finding something that fits. Maybe Bayonetta? Or Youkai Watch.

You mean Avian? Are you the anon on level 67? If you want, you can grind a little bit and fuse a Garuda on level 69. Just add Life Stream to the passives and give it some nice Physical skills or even Multi-Strike + Pierce if you can. Or maybe even Drain Hit if you can. Just back track from the compendium and keep fusing and pass on the skill sets you have. I also recommend you make use of the Add-ons you have instead of hoarding them.

Keep in mind that fighting that one boss, level matters, not strength. Knowing that, go full magic for easy route, with some agi for the dance skills. Whatever you do, don't split your points across every stat, it never works.

I've heard it be said that Yuzu's route is the easiest to start with, but I recommend going with Atsuro or Amane instead, personally. You'll see what I mean by that.

Not really too much that I've seen that's new. I've kept my eye out, but I haven't really seen any additions, though it might just be me and having not played Nocturne for a long ass time.

There's a lot of new moves, however, as well as revamps to the Magatamas that I can tell are different. Tornado's still crazy, but not as crazy as it used to be, and Majakaja got repurposed into Cadenza, which buffs magic damage and accuracy. It's pretty nice.

I'm thinking that most of the new demons are later on in the game.

It's really probably my only complaint I have with the game. The worst part is that enemies have vanilla debuff/buff values, so it's not even like it's a level playing field.

It's fucking terrible on the Matador boss fight, just as I expected it to be. God forbid you stick to buffing yourself, because his Mazan got repurposed into an evasion debuff as well. It's a goddamn bitch.

Jokes aside, that's really his only changed attack, but given how the buffs work and how yours compares to his, it's basically an endless struggle where you're taking pot-shots as opposed to buffing up and then being able to combat him normally.

It's pretty tense, but it's a bitch come his last form if you don't have a Dekunda Rock since your evasion means jack shit to him.

My theory is that according to one of the Visions, Pascal was serving Echidna as Cerberus form, until Nakajima first summoned him on the novel.
After the events of MT, on Shin's timeline, Nakajima decides to transform Cerberus in to a dog maybe predicting Kazuya's future or something like this.
So how would MT connect to SMT?Lucifer claims that the demons would come back, so he is not dead also like MT2.
Steven stole the summoning program from Nakajima or made his own.

Majin Tensei 1&2 are pretty good. The graphics are appealing and the music is GODLIKE. Sometimes it can drag on for a while, as it takes a couple of minutes for the enemy to finish it's turn, but it's not a big deal if you're playing on an emulator (speed up function solves this issue).

Haven't played any Last Bible or Debichiru games, so I can't say much about those.
