Yeah but some are way more viable than others. Also matchups matter a lot. As a Conqueror player I get fucked up by assassins bad. Not having the ability to feint makes your offense really predictable so you have to parry and guard break combo.

The most frustrating thing about this game is the matchmaking and how everyone always leaves after a match or two. I actually get tilted by it which then makes me play like shit.

Then you have the fact you literally can't even play, people drop like fucking flies. I have struggled to play more than one round of 4v4 that actually has eight fucking humans in in.
So you might as well just play against the fucking AI cause that's what you're doing. And people drop constantly. Constant "reconnecting to server" or the host leaves and you have to fucking resynch to a new host.
I would never pay full price for this shit. I'll buy this game in a year or so when it's $15 on sale, and maybe it won't be in such a fucking garbage state then.

This game either makes zero sense, or I'm missing something.

Why would I want to attack? Ever? A successful parry is a million times more rewarding than a stray light or heavy that usually doesn't even hit because blocking and parrying is easy as shit.

Sidestepping straight up doesn't work sometimes. I got shield/shoulder bashed many times even though the animation CLEARLY showed that it missed. And on the rare occasion that I do sidestep something and do a light immediately, there were several occasions when warlords recovered faster and hit me out of my light. Was I supposed to guard break instead?

How am I to use guard breaks at all? Teching is also easy as shit. Even if I can usually mix-up with Kensei for example, alternating between forward dash-light and forward dash-throw, it doesn't really lead to anything because see question no. 1.

Throwing in general just doesn't feel right at all. Why is it even possible to get 1HKO'd because the enemy parried 1 (one) single attack?

Does anyone else feel a strange, abstract sadness when beating the shit out of a raider?

Like, he just saw a big buff guy with an axe and probably doesn't play games like this often if he even has before and he's probably thinking, 'Yeah, this guy looks cool! I can't wait to swing my mighty axe and do epic Viking stuff' and then he just gets parried endlessly and when he tries to rely on his throws to scrape a win together, a good player just guard break blocks him or dodges his charge.

Tell me there are good Raider players out there so I don't feel bad. I want there to be some hope that the shitty Raider player can get better and isn't locked into shit by his class.

Take this game for example. My team wrecked the enemy team the entire game, but they still won. They didn't even go into breaking somehow, I have no clue how this game was lost, just look at the stats. I noticed that They wouldn't have to kill any minions and they'd capture B if we (I) wasn't constantly killing their minions, like their minions just beat the shit out of ours. The most they would do was kill a couple while running through.
