Nope. We have a quite good idea of how Classical Latin was pronounced.

The pronounciation in the video is atrocious.

The English "r" sound [/ɹ/] is completely wrong, Latin had a trill, or a tap.

The stops are all wrong. [aspiration - something that native speakers don't notice, but you can instantly recognise a person whose native language is English, if they are speaking a foreign language. The exception is educated people, who actually learn correct pronounciation.]

The vowels are completely wrong. I could forgive not getting vowel quality right [i.e "ē" is not just "e" held longer, it's a slightly different sound], but reducing vowels?? It's disgusting.

But whatever, the singer probably was never taught it, and the producers never bothered.

Correct Ecclesiastical pronounciation would've been fine aswell. [i.e - "veni vidi vichi" instead of "weni widi wiki"]

Its ok. Its entierly focused on war, so fief management and money making are non-existent since you get daily income from your rank. Battles are a bit weird since the mod was ported from regular M&B so controlling your units to set up at the start of a battle is hard since maps are fairly small giving you little time to set up.

What I did basically was say I want the models from 1257helmets.brf, I went through all the models in the brf and copied the texture/normalmap/specmap from the Texture folder used by every model in the brf, then moved on to the next brf. As far as I know there's no way to export materials/textures from openbrf and I didn't want to just copy every single texture from 1257 into Dickplomacy.

Why not? It isa lot easier. When you ar done just use OpenBrf's "Sort unused textures" tool and every texture that isn't referenced gets put into "module/textures/unused" for easy deletion.

There is some slightly better looking armor out there. I think it is ripped from TW:Shogun 2. It isn't in vanilla Gekokujo though. GekokujoNew and GekokujoNewer both have it.

It basically becomes free storage for troops without having to be a vassal/king. Troops will still get the garrison wage discount. It will also never be attacked so you don't have to worry about leaving it empty as well.

I played on tgstation, which apparently is not /tg/'s station.

The hardest part starting out was the controls for me. The basics are simple but as an example one time I spent half an hour trying to figure out how to climb on table (you drag your sprite on to it).

Getting familiar is hard too, since there are so many distributions with slight differences. As such, it's hard to find good documentation on the details of each job on a station. It's made worse by the fact they have practically nightly builds, so good luck actually updating the wiki if you wanted to.

Crossbows that dont use at least a goats foot are not really suited for war. You need a thousand pound + draw weight crossbow, which is going to require a windlass, to equal even an average war bow in power output due to the massively shorter draw length.

The upside is even a small child can operate a thousand pound windlass, since thats a pretty light draw weight for a windlass.
