Even before GW2 characters existed, actual avatarfags using reaction images of a certain OC to communicate visited the general and we still had plenty to discuss. It didn't even have to be avatarfags to trigger these people, all you needed to do was be recognizable. You draw art and wanted to draw free art for people here? Attacked. You like photoshop and make funny images? Attacked. You like to write fiction about the game and love the lore? Shot down. Actually know the definition of "avataring" and only post screenshots of the game? Not only hated, but Jugg was birthed out of spite towards people like that and spammed this general for years.

Given the amount of lvl-80 people I meet with raid titles or max masteries anywhere in the game, and taking into account you don't need to be maxed on masteries to play raids, I feel like that "small percentile" argument is a load of shit. Sure, maybe out of the entire life-long population it's a small amount, but out of the /active/ playerbase I'd say it's a minimum of 5%. Running around these new maps it feels more like above fucking half. It's also unfair to say raids make up too large a large portion of the content they're pushing out. Maybe if they keep releasing raids instead of dungeons with following xpacs, sure, but there's only 4 wings now compared to all the existing dungeons and fractals.

Tho it makes you think wether this game would have faired better if they stuck to their original vision or if pandering to the WoW dregs with endless grind and raids brought more of them back than the game would otherwise have sustained. I mean, seriously, how many people do you know who quit just because of raids?

The main problem with rifle thief is that people want a boom no scope sniper and that's never going to be balanced unless they find a way around it (that said, fwiw, torch and rifle would be logical next weapons for thief if only going by bandit loadouts)

Ranger's problem is that they keep insisting on making them fighty shaman/druid types.

Rifle mes has the problem that mes already does condi and power ranged, so they'd probably end up doing a hipster "melee condi rifle" with them. IMO if they're going to give it to anyone it might end up being ele or guard.

Have you tried speccing into condition + power with the Viper stuff? I'm trying it out for a week or so and it seems to melt enemies away in PVE at least. If you combine it with the Rune of the Krait it seems okayish.

Here is something I would use. Assigning the build on the skill maker makes me realise that I bought the wrong gear now. Mix and match if you want toughness.

I'd go with necro. You've got decent power and condition builds, lots of surviveability, and minions. The downside is necro doesn't really have a niche.
Ranger is better if you want to go druid and heal.

The rest of the game is basically unlocked, in which you do 5 man content. Try get a few levels by doing meta events on a map like Orr or the Silverwastes, you'd need a group and some gear around lv. 60 minimum though.

Am I retarded or is the second phase of the Caudecus battle really hard? I got my ass handed to me when usually I do really well in boss fights. Should I be equipping traits and gear for more dodge rolls? because it seemed like that was fucking me up.
