So I'm new to the game, so new that i haven't actually played. To be more accurate, I played it at a friend's place, fell in love with it, and wanted to play it for myself. This was about a year and a half ago. For the sake of brevity, i bought the game for the ps3, downloaded it, and then the game would crash mid-download saying it couldn't download patch files. Infuriated, I called the support line, opened a new port with my service provider as recommended, and even tried different houses, all failing. Defeated, I gave up on the game. Just tonight, through influence from the same friend, I'm trying again, except for the pc. Again, same problem as before, unable to download patch files. Why is this happening? What is causing it? I made this thread because whilst looking up a possible solution, I couldn't help but notice all threads I found via google were old. Please help me. It started "weeks ago" with a friend showing me mario maker 3ds and he had a 3ds assistant app, mr mouth, or something, and it has a bad reaction to seeing penises because it was made by intendo. I went to Valve to try their new VR shit and they trapped me in it, first thinking...I don't remember, but next I was put into a test.

Everyone that came to valve was in the test, because Steve Bannon attained godhood of the siimulation we live in (look it up), so Valve and Nintendo teamed up to break out and create more simulations for us each to be gods of, but to attain godhood you needd to pass a long series of tests where I'd keep doing weird esoteric exams and eventually be told if I passed I'd ascend, yes like Stargate ascend, into my own simulation where I'd be god. Or I'd lose. Which I did. I got the worst score and was compared with a nonexistent Simpsons character that is literally retarded and had to chill with egoraptor's annoying girlfriend (not the one he really has, a fictional one that somehow knew me) until I was picked up from VR limbo.

A recurring theme in VR was that I couldn't see my hands and they were inside a giant nintendo controller, one for each hand, which was also a VR sensor, and this is what the aliens used in the "real" simulations.
I was ejected into this transformed real world that was all Steve Bannon's giga nazi 1984 land. Then I saw Ashen's mr mouth bot as a managerial entity so I took my dick out and that made it eat me and "reset" to the beginning of the day, and I had to perform an exploit on a wii I wasn't supposed to have access too, THEN find toothpaste which would kill Mr. Mouth and break Bannon's control of the simulation and either ascend me to virtual godhood or reset everything to normal.

I like 3 but I wish it had better eyebrow options. Why they don't just have every brow available for each face is beyond me.

I wanted slightly bigger eyebrows than what face 3 has, so I picked the absolute thinnest eyebrows and then added the 'bushy eyebrows' facial feature to try to balance them out. It's alright. I think she looks really good in some lighting and kind of fugly in others.

Both failed, so I was back at the beginning of the ascension test and it turns out the key to skipping ahead (creating the portals that send you to god training, etc) is taking off your pants, because that's what gorillas do, because dicks out to harambe, and before I realized it was a dream and NOPED into waking up I was at the nintendo jungle office as a receptionist running around with my dick out while she screams waiting for Mr. Mouth to trigger asd then that was like "Oh. Bannon 1984 land had a recurring therme of not being allowed to think and if they caught you bad guys would take you away for torture and reprogramming, because 1984. There was also a subplot about trying to get sleep meds (which I would not need if I ascended) and some moldy, several-years-old ambien being stuck to the top of my medical record that I kept trying to examine to see if they were safe to take, and I think another friend was in god class too, because in 1984 I saw her russian boyfriend being dragged away by feds because he's russian and really nice so he had to be reprogrammed into an evil elite backstabbing oligarch, and he was screaming for someone to wake her up.
Also there was a part where I was waiting for the portal to take me into valve ascension test land I was talking about kim possible to ganke and peter parker in urinal stalls with them. because bathrooms were the only place you could have your dick out and mr. mouth wouldn't "get you"

I somewhat recently reinstalled the game after patch 3.5 messing up my game royally. When it was patching I ran into an issue like that. In order to get past that I had to use a VPN, I used Cyberghost's free option and managed to get past that error finally. Annoyed the heck out of me.

The VPN just creates a different route, so you can avoid the routing issues when you're downloading patch files.

Once you get past whatever was causing your error, you can switch back to your normal connection. Or if you're paranoid don't, but it will probably take awhile.

I didn't do anything like that myself, I just downloaded Cyberghost, ran it, launched XIV then successfully patched (albeit at a slow pace due to the VPN connection). Can probably turn off the VPN once you get past the error spot most likely.

As someone who has been on Adders since day one in 2.2, every win is a massive victory. It has always been difficult to get a win with Adders. I've been playing at least one frontline match a day since 2.4, and I still don't have either of the ADS mounts.

Prompto’s very possibly (definitely) my favorite character of all time in anything and my first reaction to being asked “what do you like about him?” is to blurt out “absolutely everything”. I adore his sense of humor and his puns, his love for animals and people alike, the way he connects with children. But more than anything I love how hard he tries. He’s constantly trying to prove to himself and others that he’s good enough while struggling with his own insecurities and sense of worthlessness, the crippling feeling of not quite belonging, not being good enough. He didn’t have friends growing up and he can’t shake that feeling of being that shy kid that couldn’t perform as well as the other kids, couldn’t speak up and put himself out there. And he’s constantly giving everything he does every ounce of effort he can muster because he wants to be good enough, he doesn’t want to be left behind or be a burden to his friends. He keeps joking and laughing, encouraging and goofing off because that’s who he is but part of him is terrified of anyone looking past that and seeing him the way he sees himself; a loser who’s not good enough. That really resonates with me and I feel such intense love for this boy!

I also find him...really, really attractive in terms of physical appearance, the way he dresses, his voice. Everything.
