Every warrior I see has bulky fat looking shoulder pads. It's just gross, I expected WAR to have less armor than a PLD. Or that Dark Knight armor with the tiger mask. Ugh it looks so gross.

The main problem with paladin tanking is that they have way too much tools to mitigate physical damage and next to none to mitigate magic damage, and most of the bosses deal a fuckton of magic damage
they're not "weaker" in the sense that they can tank just as good, keeping enmity and all that jazz, warrior are simply advantage in magic-based fights because even though they don't have much ways to mitigate magic either they have a much larger health pool
Add the fact that they deal more damage and they simply make PLD obsolete
But honestly it only matters if you want hardcore raiding fflogsautism worldfirsts
If you just want to play videogames with your static like normal people PLD is fine

WAR is top currently because it's the premiere offtank and does lots of damage while providing great debuffs, no raid is complete without one.

DRK is the best MT(which isn't saying much because PLD is awful) due to how well it scales off of getting hit and good mitigation skills overall, personal and raidwide through Delirium and Reprisal

PLD is shit because it has less damage potential than DRK, no offtank potential at all, their damage down debuff is insignificant(-10% STR doesn't affect raidwide damage, only physical tank/targeted hit which are very few), and they handle magical damage very poorly. Guess what every tank buster on A12S, the current hardest raid is? A big magical blast followed by a magical cleave.

PLDs almost died out completely in mid-late 2015 when the expac released and the raid was not only extremely tight on DPS checks, but also the final fight had purely magical tank damage.

Hey Anon I hope this finds you well. The big 20, I'm proud of your work ethic at such a young age though it does seem like they take advantage of you sometimes by having you work a lot but that puts more money in your pocket. Also like me this summer so far I'm still making good money as we are short staffed. Some people still want or need extra time off, I'm still working 5 or 6 days most weeks, but I'm enjoying the time off when I do get it. Went to see the last Harry Potter today, its Tuesday the 10th. Cooked some steaks out last night. Don't forget to enjoy some of your hard earned money, well you did buy and build a nice new computer, that's cool.

SH is running the WoW guys through the new dailies, I'm getting most of our 6 85s done every day, got some new stuff gear wise. I do think of you guys a lot, mostly of the time we had when we were all still a family, of you guys still down here after I moved out and playing Frisbee at my place, fireworks on the 4th, going to movies, out to eat, and toy and collectable hunting. Doing the Scout stuff like Pinewood Derby, we usually did pretty good.

You remember DD from the old trailer park days? He just graduated college, his mom L found me on facebook. I'm proud of you and your brother for where you both are and what you're doing. I still get mad at myself sometimes for not giving you the chance to finish school down here. We coulda made it work, getting you to and from school. SH would of helped out when I was working day shifts. I often wonder if thats why sometime I get the feeling you're mad at me by not talking on the phone when I call sometimes, or maybe its just the Anon grumpy part of you. Grammy and grampy thought we let you and your brother either misbehave or get away with too much, and we know how grampy has a big mouth and how protective your mom is. That was hard on me.

I know I wasn't the perfect husband, but to be honest I really thought I was a hell of a dad, especially when you guys were younger. The last 3 or 4 years since you guys moved away, its like 5 now actually, I feel you slipping away. Not so much your brother, he still comes down to visit and is generally more willing to talk on the phone. You know your mom needed my permission to leave Florida, it was in our divorce agreement, neither could leave before you guys got out of school without the other parents permission.

Looking back I think it hurt our relationship. You would have graduated high school here, maybe gone on to college or tech school as there are a lot close by here. But mom wanted out and I would be selfish and the bad guy if I didn't let her. Heck, she might have done it anyways, who knows. I still coulda fought to keep you here in school, thats my biggest mistake and regret. I only have a few in my life, regrets, that's one of them. Another is about some stuff that happened in my highschool days, maybe I'll tell you about it someday.

Maybe you know or you don't know, I still send mom child support every month. Mainly becasue I got behind when I bought this house. She was and has been kind that way, I have sent her money every month since I moved out some 10 years ago. Many months it was less than what it was supposed to be, but it helped me get by when times were tough here. Even now I'm sending like 500 a month. Was supposed to be 675 or so, so I actually forgot. That is a lot for a waiter though, so it will take me extra years but mom will get all of the child support. Losing my house has allowed me to put away some good cash though for my future years.

I know you're young, but maybe some day talk with mom or me on the phone about starting a Roth IRA. ne of the best things me and mom were together, we both were good savers and investors with our money, stocks, mutual funds. The house we bought, me and mom paid 180k. She sold it for like 250k when you guys moved to Maine, a very nice profit.

For me, not so good smiling when I moved out and we just decided without looking into it that I'd get 5000 for my time and effort and we worked it our of child support, like taking 5k off what I owed so I never actually got a penny. Heres a good one, the guy who bought the house from mom sold it like 6 months later for 300k. Now it sits empty. The guy who paid 299k is like me and thousands if not millions who bought at the worst time with bad loans and have lost or are losing our houses.

I'm just rambling on, maybe life is choices, decisions, maybe it's all planned out for us. I believe in God, but I also believe in free will or choice. I coulda chose to try and fight to keep you here to finish school, like I said a true regret of mine. Most regrets take time to settle in and admit. I did love your mom dearly, but I had to go. No regrets there, the relationship was broken. Too much hurt on both sides to heal.

Well, I hope you are well and happy with where you are in your life. I hope you get back to getting your license. Take classes, practice every day, its just time energy and effort. Skill will come with the others. Please look into investing some of your money, you could have 100 to 150k by the time you're 30. Admittedly I joined partly to experience how cancerous it was. I wasn't disappointed.

I usually host parties with a giant "KNOW MECHANICS, I DON'T CARE ABOUT SKIP" description, and it works decently; just last night I had an i260 that wasn't caustic about wiping to Soar and actually knew how to un-fuck itself from a death in the last phase. We only wiped once.

Zurvan really brought out the worst of the playerbase. The fight is cool and super simple especially compared to Sephirot and even Sophia, but it's instilled the fool idea that skipping mechanics is better than learning them first.
