For what? Leveling? No. You don't want to reduce Mind Blast's cooldown while leveling since it's a mana sink. You want Shadow Focus at 5/5 so mobs two levels higher have no chance to resist you at 0 Resistance. You need Spirit Tap for mana regeneration. Once you get your third rank of Mind Flay you no longer need to rely on wands for DPS. You don't need SW:P to last longer because the mobs will be dead on its normal tick.

I play different hours then the few that are online in my guild, saw one online today in stv, try to ask if it's a complete warzone or if you can quest, even if it is considered a pvp heavy zone.
No response, try again 10 minutes later in whisp, no response.
Run over there anyway to get a feel for it and literally run into him, help him kill the mob he has tagged, just ignores me and runs away. He logged out 20 minutes later without saying a word.
Now I go from zone to zone, running into packs of hordes everywhere, all hellbent on 2-5v1 and I get no space at all to quest in any zone.

Never played on private servers I did play on retail. Well when I played back in tbc I would do PvP or message someone I was doing dungeons with. I added some people that I talked a whole lot with, back when I was 13-14 or so that made quite an impression on me (since the people I added were often much older and the only older people I usually spoke to where my parents and teachers). It made me see things differently, ah how I would love to speak to some of those people again but alas I've forgotten them mostly.

I don't know how things are currently but when I played WoD I had the same kind of experienced. But now the playerbase felt even older, I chatted with some people who were married, getting married or were complaining about a divorce.

You don't farm gear, what you do is complete all the quests you find and you get some good shit as rewards.

Do all instances once with all quests (google "jame guide" of the instance).

Spec how you feel depending on your gameplay, combat is for good dps alone or in dungeon, but if you like that you can pvp as a stealth you should spec in the others so you can enjoy the leveling way more instead of doing like 15% more damage.

Try to keep a gathering prof at your level and also lockpicking.

Poisons are a huge boost to dps.

Gear wise are you going horde or alliance? If Horde do the Harpie chain quest at 16-18 for the good green Dagger, do WC quest for the blue sword & maybe the blue mace, which are really good if you're leveling as Combat which is good for grinding but not really suited for stealthing up and doing back stabs.

combat is good for leveling. I save up as much silver that i can so i can buy a sword at 10 (usualy 20s for a good sword) and buy sword training (10s). then go down combat tree 100% all the way to 40.

If you want to use daggers i recommend. pic related as a well rounded base for leveling. its good for solo and group play.

get remorseless attacks first. then go down the combat tree until you get imp backstab. then go down the sub tree until you get imp ambush. You could try going down sub first if you want.
daggers is kinda bad to level though compared to swords/maces but once you get the base it should pick up a little and be more consistent with crits.
If you are not critting on your opener it can feel really awful.

thats why i put 2 points in imp sinister strike. i would usually just ambush something down to half hp then sinister strike it down the rest. It depended on the mob though sometimes i would gouge then backstab. Daggers is great when you are 2 shotting mobs but it sucks worse than warrior when your ambush doesnt crit then your backstab doesnt either or your gouge misses.
alsoi forgot about opportunity with that build i posted. It would be worth getting that instead of master of deception since stealth is broken in the lower levels anyways.

Mining & Engineering is the most fun and areally strong in pvp.

Leatherworking & Skinning is ok, you can make your own leather armor and sell leather i guess. Kind of over rated unless you plan on making devilsaur set.

Herbalism & Alchemy is fun there ae lots of good potions for a variety of situations and you can make money with it pretty easily too. good for world pvp. Keep in mind if you are pick pocketing mobs all the time you will have more than enough health potions anyways. I would get fishing up as well if you take these.

i would recommend one pair of those. Or get 2 gathering professions just to make money.
Or just ignore professions for a while because they take a long time to level up and can cost a lot of gold too.

If you bot or just purely grind, you'd have plenty enough and more silver for 2 swords + training + skills at level 10 just by vendoring everything you pick up.

No idea why anyone would even consider anything else besides combat swords unless they're level 60. I guess if you just like gimping yourself then go for it.

The pack is like 35-42 for sure. Everyone's got their mounts.

Going through the first 30 levels is much much easier now compared to the first two weeks, so anyone starting now will hit zones after most people have already been through. Currently Booty Bay & Tanaris etc are pretty crazy.

Easiest example is the kolkor quest in the Barrens where only 1 person can get the flag fragment, most people skipped it yet 2 weeks ago there were still like 50+ there, now it's more like 1-5 ppl.
