Depends on your class, honestly the game is pretty boring as fuck until you hit level 40, you get your mount and your last talent in your tree which can be a real game changer

Ofc, it wasn't hard in the sense of mechanical skill, pve never was. Overtuned just means more challenging because shitters can't stand in fire/eat debuffs for more than a couple ticks, but in the end it's largely a gear check with some fun mechanics/fights, which combined with 40 man raids made for a pretty epic experience. I cleared it as a mage in a top 10 US guild and sold my account for 1,700. My friend got over 2K because he had MoM. Private server raiding is just a playground for babby's first 40man raiding, which is fine. I don't expect Elysium to code anything properly in the first place if it even makes it to Aq40, guess we'll see how it turns out on Anathema.

All the challenging content in WoW has had strict tuning, because it requires that everyone performs optimally.

It wouldn't be cleared within the first week. You need 8 tanks with the T3 4-piece bonus for four horsemen, otherwise the probability of a wipe is too high. Tanks will probably need the 6-piece bonus as well, otherwise they won't be able to generate enough threat to meet the DPS requirements. That's not even considering the gear checks on frost resistance and healers.
