I honestly loved it. The art is almost painfully outdated, but once you get an hour in or so you get past it and it's ridiculously hot. Only other caveat is that it was when JAST's translation standards were even lower, so you get a few really awkward sentences every so often, plus I'm pretty sure two of the main heroine's names are translated wrong. Arisa should be Alice, given that Alice in Wonderland is directly referenced but called Arisa in Wonderland, and Emiru should be Emily but can't find any proof in the story.

Would highly recommend. Do have a decent guide handy though, there's a few variant scenes that are a total cunt to get. Arisa > Maria > Ruruka > Sanae > Emiru.

Alright, so one thing I've noticed with remake Kanna is that the people involved with the remake seem to think that Kanna is meant to be sort of emotionless alien that's unaware of what's going on around her when it's the complete opposite:

It's been confirmed the text will be 90% the same, the rearranged OST sounds good, and you can pick to use the original FM one, the remake also comes with the original game, and it's an actual port, not emulation, they found someone who knows PC-98 code, they're also keeping the sex scenes and making the gameplay not as outdated.
I swear some people just see it's not '90's art anymore and just shit on it, when the game it's getting pretty much everyone could ask for.

I'm an artist and think the remake character art is just very amateurish on a technical level, regardless of style. All kind of subtle issues such as shading, construction, twinning, use of straights agains curves etc. Not to mention tacky colour choices (purple suit for Ryuuzouji? Really?)
