At max level though you'll have to consider MP management since you'll want to get in lots of Ruin III outside of the dreadwyrm window.

I finally bought on steam the game after thinking about it for a while. I played the game on launch, but It did not grow on me because of its speed and lack of pvp. Has it fixed these with time?

Also, I'd love to go for a fast class, as the game might feel to slow sometimes I fear. I played an Archer my first time, but I'm thinking about ninja or monk now. Would that be a good choice? Do I need to know anything else about the game as a newcomer?

Ninja is pretty forgiving and doesn't require a whole lot of managing stuff. Two dots, a debuff, and using Armor crush every now and then to keep up Huton. The only part you'll have trouble with is just memorizing the Mudra combinations. That said, it's pretty fun and entertaining.

Ninja and monk both have attack speed buffs that lower their GCD, so they would be faster if that's what you're looking for. Bard and Machinist are also moderately fast, since they're designed around weaving a lot of cooldowns and off-GCD abilities between shorter cast time skills.

There is PvP now and it's about as lively as it will ever be due to the crossover event running. It's pretty shitty as far as PvP goes, however.

the game speeds up substantially at max level since there are a lot of buttons to press between gcds for most classes

also all classes are viable, pick whichever you like and stick with it. monk and nin have the shortest gcds so if you like that then go for them

So I decided to move this game to my SSD and now when I try to install it I keep getting "unable to download patch files 30413" at various points in the download. Numbers vary but always start with 30413. Support site has nothing about it, google basically just said reinstall/delete the 4e9a232b folder, neither of which worked.

Anyone had this happen?
