Reused assets I believe. First iteration of siege or the "gameplay" of siege showed the defenders as terrorist like enemies. The nitro would make sense. The white masks also used the nitro cell bombs. What would make more sense was for the defenders to use c4 and a clacker.

Am I missing something if I don't play ranked? I can't tell if I'm missing out on a large part of Siege or not.
I'm a level 90 solo casual player but would rather not have Eastern Europeans scream at me and team kill me because they didn't ace/I'm the last one standing and taking my time/picked an operator they wanted or didn't want/did something.

My thoughts are on a weird cut down version of a SPAS-12 or a Fabarm SDASS ultra short, for three reasons.

>S for short

Franchi is the most iconic Italian shotgun manufacturers, so it wouldn't surprise me if we got another SPAS-12.
Fabarm is another Italian manufacturer, they've got a shortened version of the SDASS that holds 5+1. I'm really hoping it's this because I'm sick of seeing the SPAS-12.
It probably won't be another Benelli since we already have two (M1014 and Super 90).

The art team and direction during game development are clearly different people. We've gone from pseudo-realistic dynamic lighting in the early alphas to oversaturated colours and female minorities up the ass post-launch.
I've read the novel and I know this is a sore talking point in this general, but there is way too much - I really don't know what to call it - forced diversity in the game in terms of female ops and ethnic minorities from tier 1 CTUs.

I was playing Siege last night at 60 FPS without any problems now today it's capped at 30 FPS for some reason. I checked the settings and everything was fine, including vsync. It even runs at 30 when I do the benchmark on low. The day before I fine on high-very high.

Anyone have experience with this because it's making me a very sad boy.

If you're playing in borderless, Windows 8 and above forces Vsync on the desktop with no way to disable, you need to run games in fullscreen.

Setting textures to low provides a massive performance boost as this also changes the base LOD of virtually every asset in the game to a lower one.
