Guys should I buy the year 2 season pass or titanfall 2? They're both about the same price on kinguin and I just don't know which one to get, I don't want to do both because I'm just greedy with my money like that.

reasons to buy titanfall 2
-want to have a casual fps game I can just play and run around and shoot shit
-getting bored with the fps games I currently have, rainbow six, battlefield 1,3 and 4, red orchestra is what I'm currently playing but I can't really play that game for more than 1 hour, then I get bored with it

reason to buy year 2 season pass
-don't feel like grinding renown every season to get the new operators (did that the first year and I'm over it, don't feel like doing it again)
-want to support the game, after 450 hours in PvP I feel like they deserve it

You've already paid for R6S, buying Titanfall 2 means you'll have to split your time, or drop a game entirely. Both are online games, so it's not like you can buy TF2 when it's on sale, play one, come back to the other, as it may be dead by then.

2 new characters every 3 months aren't going to change gameplay so much to stop you from getting bored with R6S. Also, if you don't like grinding, you can just buy credits and unlock some DLC operators for the same price as the pass; you honestly don't need every single operator unlocked to be competitive.

I should have clarified, Glaz needs a buff to his damage dropoff and that's about it. He is much more effective pushing the objective in close range that actually using his gun as a marksman rifle, because his gun has more damage dropoff than like anything else in the game.

His damage dropoff is fine. at max falloff his gun still does the highest damage of all DMRs. See pic related. That's compared to Blackbeards rifle, the dmr with the highest damage other from Glaz's.
The fact that his gun does more damage up close is a bonus to make sure he's not obsolete if he's forced to move into the building, which should be every round if your team doesn't complete the objective without you.

What Glaz needs is some sort of utility to make him competitive with other op choices. Some sort of thermal vision, passive ability to autospot attackers that leave the building within line of sight, or anything that makes him more useful than just a unique gun that can break barricades in 3 hits.

He's literally just a neutered version of Blackbeard. There's nothing that Glaz can accomplish that BB can't, and even Buck running with the FAL has greater overall usability than Glaz.
It's painfully obvious that Ubi does not and can not give a flying fuck about Glaz at all. The first "buff" he received literally did nothing more than to remove the opaque red filter from the magnifier and instead replace it with a translucent red filter. Then, a full year later, they "buffed" him by increasing the RoF and decreasing recoil, which, again, did nothing more than sidestep the real problem.

The problem is that Glaz is a long range operator made for a short range game. Giving him an automatic weapon like the VSS, or simply reducing the utterly ridiculous dropoff of the SVU, are two suggestions which I and many other anons have brought up in threads past. Alternatively, Glaz's unique ability can be altered to help facilitate a recon role, perhaps a thermal optic to go with his smoke grenades (totally not stealing this from Dirty Bomb), or a set of COD style threat grenades that can distinguish enemy locations for a short period of time.
Bottom line- Glaz is not suited for CQB and brings nothing to the table, thus there's no point in picking him.

What i ment to say really is that Glaz didn't need a buff because his Rifle was already really strong, it will always kill in 1-3 Hits.


Even IF you go up against a really shitty Glaz the odds are massively in his favour because he can simply kill you in 1 body shot and at long ranges he can take over half your health in 1 hit aswell buffing his firerate and recoil just makes him disgustingly good for good players and even noobs better.

Its comparable to the AWP in Cs even if you suck all you have to to is conncet 1 hit for an instant kill or massive dmg.

BB has shield, Twitch has drone, Buck has the skeleton key, Glaz has... a scope? For a gun near identical to other DMRs at ranges it should be more suited for?

His focus is supposed to be long range, but any rifle with an ACOG and less recoil can do the same thing. making the drop off like half of what it is now would make him an actual sniper.

The recoil and fire rate buff recently makes him the best at both consistent body damage and heashot potential when it comes to dmr users. With a muzzle brake now you can literally not shoot quickly enough for the shots to land above center. It's the best dmr in the game, you can't argue otherwise.
His gun is fine now, he needs additional utility, because good guns only get you so far in a game with one-hit-headshots, and a good gun doesn't compare to the gadgets you lose out on by picking Glaz.

Yeah, but they're predominantly seen in the hands of bad guys, so the game kinda sets the tone of "these are the bad guy's guns" (the same can be said for the Uzi, RPK, and Glocks, though I guess the latter can be chalked up to Ubi simply not wanting to pay for licensing).

If Jager can get a carbine then I'd say it's reasonable for Jackal to get an SMG. I'm pretty sure that Ubi has realized at this point that the "best" attribute a weapon can have in this game is fire rate, and since most modern PDWs fire faster than rifles, I can see why Ubi would make that decision.

Another thing I've found that helps is, when you're in a 1v1 peek fight, you throw a curve ball and prone peek
