Say you're ranging Araxxor; is there any reason besides being bad enough to need the 7% defence boost to use augmented sirenic over augmented pernix?

From what I can calculate (factoring in a fairly generous reduction in brew/food usage, and suitable usage of path 3 when available to decrease degradation) the augmented sirenic would in a best case scenario cost 500k/hr to use, whereas the augmented pernix would cost 250k/hr under the same circumstance - and this is factoring in the difference in food usage.

Even at 300% enrage, unless you're going for a no food kill, I simply don't see the point in sirenic here. You'll have more than enough supplies using a nihil in pernix.

Speaking of Quests, I don't know why I thought doing Sliske's Endgame would be a fun experience.
I just learned that skipping Puzzle Rooms doesn't work out when I couldn't progress past the second room of the third section and am currently backtracking to the first section. Apparently the puzzle rooms don't lose their purple glow thingy when they're completed, so I don't know which one I'm missing and I have to revisit them all.

General rule of thumb for Double XP, always train something that is either a bitch to do (something that can't be easily done passively) or expensive to level. So don't do Woodcutting, Fishing, or Divination and the such.

Summoning, Herblore, Agility, Construction, Crafting, Smithing, and Dungeoneering are good choices.

Other then PvM why play RS3? I'm trying to decide between the 2 versions. I come here because RS3 players are less toxic then OSRS players. That I can't deny.

The inherent problem with trying to recreate RS in 2007 is that the whole attitude/atmosphere of the game has changed.
Most people back then didn't care about efficiency. Maybe they wanted a particular 99 cape but very few people bothered with tick manipulation or other high intensity methods, but now these methods are common knowledge and practice.

All the wonder and mystery are gone from the game and it can't be recreated
