Going off an idea an earlier Anon posted, get Alphys/Sans/whoever the fuck else is needed to refit the DT extractor into a Kindness extractor, find someone who's dominant trait is Kindness and convince them to donate to the cause, and then hit Flowey up with a dose of Kindness. I got over the Asriel thing after about three days, but I still think he could've gotten a happier ending.

The bittersweet ending of Undertale is what made it stick with me for so long. Well, long enough that I got sucked into the fandom. Had Asriel gotten a happy ending like everyone else I would've been happy and moved on. That slight subversion of Undertale's theme of redemption and how love can conquer all at the very end in a crushing twist of reality was a shot through the heart, especially after the game spent ~8 hours melting my emotional walls.
I'm getting autistic now but the fact that Asriel didn't get a happy ending is the reason why Undertale is special to me, basically.

I remember reading this on Undertale Science, and it made me feel extra bad for Toriel. As you know, you may hate Chara, but they were also her child, too, and I'm sure she also loved them very much.

I could go either way on Chara but sometimes I daydream about why they did what they did.
What if Chara's father sexually abused her, her mother won't believe her, the cops won't investigate, etc. Chara then starts to distrust all humans, but isn't an omnicidal freak juuuust yet. She decides to just kill herself by jumping down a hole.
She gets a way kinder family than what she ever had above ground, but again, the humans are the reason they're stuck underground. At one point Chara just decides that all of humanity should be purged and shit happens from there. I think its boring storytelling to just say "Chara's just a crazy kid"

Toriel sees Chara again and is at first happy to see Chara, but her demeanor changes suddenly and she angrily asks why Chara killed herself by eating buttercups. Chara says its because some evil edgy ghost man tells her to do bad things and Toriel goes "OH MY CHILD IM SORRY" and then hugs Chara, while Chara is breaking down and apologizing.
I think the AU would have been better if it was something not stupid sounding. Here's a super abridged version of the AU. I kinda liked it until this part, it got better but Chara never really even did anything other than become Frisk's playmate.

If you want to become better at drawing different shapes like I suggested at some point I think the best way to practice is to just take a pencil and paper and start sketching out the shape with lines until it starts to feel like it has the shape you're going for.
The more you do it the easier it becomes to get the lines and shapes right the first time around. You don't have to worry about it looking messy since you can just finalize the linework afterwards.
Here's some old scribble from my phone for an example of the technique, I believe this is pretty commonly used. Use whatever method you feel comfortable with, but never forget that experience with different things is always the best teacher.

Not him but it's quite common for skeletonfags to shit over the other characters to make the bros look better. Most common examples I can think of are Asgore, Alphys and Undyne in order to make Sans look even more awesome in comparison. It happens a lot in AUs and shipping art.
Papyrus is my favorite and it annoys me when they do that since it devalues the others while making the skeletons look like shitty Mary Sues that often don't even have the personality that makes them cool in the first place

Asgore
His content was really good and it made me really feel for the guy. I enjoy his roll in the story and his position as a reluctant antagonist (not the right word for it i'm sure but I'm not really sure what to call it). I think it would have been really easy to just make him a completely unlikable dick but I like that Toby still gave us reasons to like him and to empathize with him despite his pretty huge flaws and I enjoy the moral dilemma he was put under and while its not something I approve of I can understand why he made the choices he did.In my very personal opinion I think his content was the most emotional and well done.

If I had to put it in a few words I'd say she's a girl with a strong character, she has a good pair of bollocks and that's hot af.
Her heroicism is very attractive to me as well, it speaks to me on a deeper level, it shows she's not only a badass fish, but she has values and strong principles she's willing to defend until the very end, she tried to protect both humans and monsters even at the cost of her life. That's remarkable shit right there.
She's also quite passionate about everything she does (even cooking spaghetti), something I truly admire since I have big trouble being constant in life. Man, if I had Undyne with me, we'd rule the world.
Aside from that, she's pretty, fit (I'm into the sporty/fit kind of girl) and a total cutie patootie.

What I really like about Asgore is his buildup. Toby is a hack, no surprise there, but he is one of the legit great things he did, in terms of building up a character. All through the game you get these impression of how he's going to murder you, he's a sweet guy, he's Santa, he's the most powerful and will end you, he's a jolly fellow, and in the end all of them turn out to be true, in their own way.

I draw a lot of parallels to that, myself. A tragedy you never mentally left, isolating yourself, just reliving the same day over and over trying to hold on to what you are and what you're doing. The feeling of long standing bitterness tearing up your insides. Sorrow, rage, fear there to choke you down to the floor when you try to exit that mode. Yet, she's sweet and wants to do right, but can't find the means until she snaps out of it.

Papyrus
he was just a cute comic relief character until I saw what he does in the genocide run
then I paid more attention to him since I thought a character that was so self-centered and so desperate for recognition would leap at the chance to play the big hero and save everyone, not offer mercy to their killer
I was dumb and had entirely misunderstood him
he's funny, more clever than he's given credit, genuinely kind-hearted, an idealist, and chooses to believe the best in everybody even though most monsters seem to dislike or merely tolerate him
I relate a lot to characters that push themselves to do their best, but can't quite get things right
boastful, temperamental, insecure characters are my favorite, but they don't usually have the kindness that's at the center of Papyrus (or if they do, it's buried under layers upon layers of angst)
and his interactions with Undyne are fantastic

Flowey (and by extension Asriel)
Because he's a great example of how a straight line of trauma, couple with immense power can completely destroy a person's ability to be rational, kind and in any way healthy. He's got moments of immense sacrifice, couple with moments of genuine evil, but at the heart of it all, he wasn't a bad person to begin with, and when given the chance, he can pull out of it. Only thing he really needs is help, lots of it.
