Carbine's crikey lasts 8 seconds once you activated it. Full sniper charge takes about 3.3 seconds. In practice you can squeeze at least 1 shot if you full charge it. Aiming takes a good amount of time, don't expect miracles at the heat of battle without positioning.
If you wanna try out; Sydney with SMG works pretty good too.

How to into competitive tf2 teams

I'm in NA and have 3000+ hours, I played with three people that were supposedly in steel but they were absolutely god awful and I did better than them significantly as one of my worst classes, though it was a pub, they were medic-soldier comboing and still dying. I looked at an iron finals PoV and it seemed like even these guys were more skilled than me, I don't know if it was just because you have an actual team and communications to rely on in comp.

How would I go about finding a rookie iron team w/ no standards, does it even work like that, or what should I do?
