Basically that means that Iowa can maneuver AND fire at the same, something that no other nation in the world could do. And before you go "hurr, in real life you don't-", they tested this shit in 1944, and concluded that in capital ship actions, USN fast BB skippers could maneuver freely and at will without throwing off their firing solutions.

One of my all time favorites is when I rammed a full health Yamato with my heavily damaged NC, and he simply sat there and let me because he didn't know I had a Die Hard flag equipped.

His death jumped a shitty orange game past the 100k mark. Do you guys have any good stories like that?

Yeah, there is no way at all that this is a recipe for desaster, with half the crew going overboad while the other half fires off a few rounds that get nowhere near the enemy because they can't be directed in any way.
Followed by the ship exploding because ammo is rolling everywhere on the deck where people dropped it.

When I finally managed to get inot a battle with two another Takao and a Yamato on the same team way back during the alpha. There were no divs back then, so we had ot sync drop manually.

Takao was the t8 CA back then, there was no t9 BB in the tree, etc.

The map was North, and we headed for the area where the cap point A is today.
That image of these two Takaos and Yamato forming up, the other guys on the team going 'aww shit they work together', out opening double torp broadside of 20 km range Type 93s outright killing an enemy DD, crippling an Amagi and a Nagato, and the enemy team hopelessly retreating under our fire to their own cap, AP and HE from our cruiser guns smashig them to bits, and the Yamato's 46 cm guns hammering their puny BBs into scrap.
And the fucking faggot carrier failing to get any good hits on us three times in a row before throwing a shitfit in chat becasue his clicking powers could not beat our teamwork, and I torped him while he was sliding along the blue line 18 km from their cap.
That was victory at sea.

That is what this game could have been, before the beta happened and marketing ruined all that was great and good about it.
