I think the game looks alright, so far. Design, sound, gameplay, etc. I like that they brought loot back, but I'd like to see more of it. How upgrades and mods work, and so on.

I think she looks fine. She looks somewhat strange in the first reveal, but from what I've seen in other trailers, I don't see anything wrong with her face.
There's that one animation where the guy paused in the middle of an animation, giving her a literal o: face, but people look weird when you pause at certain times.

This makes no sense. If you apply for selection, why the hell would you only give the recruits the first part of the training, then send them out while telling them that IF they want, they can return?

The SFOD-D doesn't give you one fifth of the training, then say "Return any time, buddy!". You go for as long as you can, and if you succeed, you're in. There's no 'returning to finish training'.

Something I think would be interesting, would be having more stuff like the Exo-geni quests in the first game.
Alien genetic diseases, a guy that tries to improve something broken and ends up like the Man-bat in Arkham Knight, etc.
I always enjoy those kinds of things. Exo-geni secretly trying new genetic therapies on a colony off the beaten path, but ends up creating very quick vampire-like things, with the quest turning into a small conspiracy things where you get to choose to make it public, effectively ruining their reputation resulting in holding back human colonization, or just clearing the colony and eliminating as many personnel as possible while still keeping it hush-hush. Or something.
Genetic freaks, I like it.

it's annoyingly hard at the beginning but doable during the middle (with the occasional bottleneck like that mission with the bunch of biotics where combat is unavoidable),
helps taking an extra combat profession like assault guns or even sniper rifle though your targeting is a mess at the beginning and need 5 shots to kill an enemy until you've invested some points and found a better rifle but at least they're the fuck far away
