Not trying to attention fag, but I feel like I should post as an update because it is important to me, and others encouraged me with it, so I'd like to do this for them.

If you recall a month and a half ago I posted a resume and all you guys convinced me to send it to sega, it took a while but I did, even sent it in a special envelope and everything. Well, it's been a month and a half, and I haven't heard anything back, but I just want to say thanks to everyone for encouraging me to send it. I've decided to move on to other things now, though. After some reflection I can't really see myself working at Sega. As passionate about Sega, specifically sonic, as I am, I think the people there are doing a fine job. Personally, I think that the way I perceive it is better than it might actually be. I'd be working in an office (which I hate, I've done it), I wouldn't really be interacting with people, and to me it just makes me feel like I wouldn't be doing much. I've decided to go into sales writings, which is basically advertising and such, which I genuinely believe will be very successful and make me a lot of money.

The reason why I mention this is because what really inspired the idea in the first place was Aaron Webber. When he took over the Sonic twitter it reminded me of the old Genesis ads. Witty, clever, and memorable. It led me to an interest in advertising, and I see myself going that path down the line. I'd rather do something like that, and make money that can go to good causes in the gaming community, and really feel like I'm making a difference. I just want to say thanks to everyone who encouraged me to do this, it helped me soul search a bit, and make me re-evaluate what I hope my future looks like.

The temporal remnants of that Future!Iblis was left in it's own dimension between Sonic's and Blaze's, becoming the Ifrit and the Chaotic Inferno Zone. The Temporal remnants of Mephiles the Dark became the Time Eater. The Flame of Hope, the true Solaris, pretty much became the Chaos 0 of Blaze's World. Because of the Chaos and Sol Emeralds' magnetic connection, the two dimensions became linked like the two sides of a magnet, and so have Sonic and Blaze, and the Jeweled Scepter and the Power of the Stars exist to keep balace across the dimensions and stuff.

I also theorize that Eggman Nega knows all of this and wants to re-create the corrupt Solaris, and unleash the Flames of Disaster upon the world. Hence why he goes to Blaze's world often.

And Knuckles? Both Earth and Fire. Knuckles has displayed an affinity to both elements. Not just being strong enough to shake the earth or split the hydrogen in the air, but he has done that with his strength alone, but Knuckles has harnessed the elemental energies of the earth and used fire powers as an element.

I like to think of Knuckles as "lava".

Here's what I've put together on the comic as I see it and why I think this has to do with SEGA possibly pulling the license for the comic from Archie. I'll explain with some evidence below and then follow up with more.

New issues were planned for 2017, including a run-up to issue #300 of Sonic and #100 of Sonic Universe.

FACT: On Dec. 28 at SSMB, VEDJ-F posted a rumor that Sega of Japan ordered Archie to cease all production on comics. Nobody thought anything of it because books came out after the post - but if you're familiar with comics, the books are printed weeks in advance
MY TAKE: If SEGA didn't send this out until late December, it would have been too late to stop new books from arriving in stores.
FACT: Sonic subscriptions were removed from the Archie Comics website after the new year.
MY TAKE: In business, some deals expire after 12/31 of a calendar year. If the license was pulled from Archie unexpectedly, they would need to stop taking subscriptions immediately. They have to stop taking money if they're not going to be able to get out a product.
FACT: Archie put Sonic titles on sale on their website
MY TAKE: if they lost the license, they'd need to move quick to sell whatever comics they have in their inventory.
FACT: Archie has not released any statements on the matter through their website or social media.
MY TAKE: This leads me to believe that they haven't said anything because they can't say anything as the situation may not be cut and dry. When Mega Man was announced as ending, it was in the solicits 6 months ahead of time. They had a statement for fans and to any posts on Twitter or Facebook. They haven't said anything or replied to any fans yet
FACT: There have been conflicting reports from people and their conversations with Archie's subscription dept.
MY TAKE: They're being told one thing or another in terms of what to tell customers - and may be just as much in the dark as we are. If the book was truly canceled - they would have a script to follow telling people it's canceled and showing them which books they can transfer their subscriptions to (like when Sonic Boom and Mega Man ended.) So far, they haven't been solid on one thing or another (from what people have said, I haven't called yet to try)

I think, based on all of the above - but mostly the fact that new issues have been solicited past this month AND the fact that Archie hasn't said anything officially that Nothing is certain at the moment and that the books aren't canceled but SEGA has instructed Archie to stop publishing. It's in Archie's best interest to fight and try to see the rest of their run out - A #300 and #100 and third issue of MEGA DRIVE are huge.

WHAT WE CAN DO:

Call SEGA. Email SEGA. Tweet SEGA. Write on their Facebook. Tweet at the official Sonic the Hedgehog accounts. Let them know you want more comics from Archie and let them know you want the series to continue. I've been a fan of these comics since I was a kid and I would hate to see them end before these huge milestones and have all my favorite creators suddenly without work.

Personally, I think Marine doesn't really work as a sidekick to Blaze. I used to think it was perfect, but now... not so much.
I mean, Blaze and Marine are The Sun and The Ocean. That dynamic is clear. But as a "Sonic and Tails, Mentor and Apprentice" shtick?

Sonic and Tails are Speed, the Wind, and Flight, the Sky. Speed and Flight, and the Wind and the Sky, are intimitely connected and similar to each other. It's why I have the theory that Tails is the Rings/Special Zone to Sonic's Chaos.

The Ocean doesn't have that kind of connection to The Sun. Marine works as a ... analogue or whatever to Tails, with the whole "Plane/Sky versus Ship/Sea" thing they have, but not as much as the Tails to Blaze's Sonic. If Marine controlled a force that was similar to Blaze's flames, a force that could Marine could be trained to use in ways similar to Blaze to accomplish similar things, then it'd work perfectly.

Amy fans usually believe that she's just some normal girl. Which is just plain wrong.

I don't ACTUALLY think Amy is a GODDESS, but she IS ridiculously overpowered with a ton of magical or supposedly-magical and physical capabilities.

She's strong & can definitely hold her own in a fight, but she's far from overpowered. Like, compared to Sonic, Shadow & Knuckles, the only one she'll only stand a chance against is maybe Knuckles, & even then, she'll lose.

The way I see it, if SEGA decided to portray a character as having a certain ability in any context, that ability is canon. What I mean is, if Shadow hadn't appeared at all after SA2, and Chaos Spear was only ever seen in 2player mode, I would consider Chaos Spear canon even though everyone else would just brush it off as noncanon and doesn't count. SEGA chose to give Amy "Storming Heart" and "Amy Flash", and Metal Sonic "Black Shield", so those abilities are canon to the characters' skillset. Amy can apparently summon a pink tormado of hearts just by blowing a kiss, and she can temporarily freeze and paralyze her opponents. SEGA chose to portray Amy Rose as Nimue in Black Knight, as a highly magical and mystical figure and using a ton of magic. Which naturally means, SEGA considers Amy herself to be a mystical character just like Tails' tinkering with technology is why he's the Blacksmith. They played the role that best matches their character.

I've heard that the Invisibility was a placeholder move, but at the end of the day, SEGA thought that it would make sense to give Amy the ability to turn Invisible, so that ability is canon as well, even though it's only in '06.

Point is, just like Sonic's ability is Speed, Tails' is Flight, and Knuckles' is Power, Amy's signature ability appears to be Magic. Not just "Agility" or the Piko Piko Hammer, but Magic. Just like CD's JP manual said, her special skill is fortune felling and mystic things.
