Dunno if somebody ever found a workaround to that slipping glitch caused by goto puke. Was farming goto 23 so it was close to the elevators. I did manage to get back to the waiting room to relog in by crouching and hitting the x prompts a split second after. Seems like the mid animation of crouching. You can also walk around in your crouching stance or walking slowly without slipping on the ground. Too bad it won't work on the some of the higher floors though. I think people would just have to bring a solo shelter then.

I love the motor psycho. Saber is a good weapon. Motor psycho is better if you're an impatient fuck and like killing multiple enemies at once or charge attacks. Saber is good if you love being a dickbag and stunlocking fuckos to death.

Both are good, get enough metals to make the unupgraded version of both of them and decide for yourself which you favor.

It's durability is always gonna be noticably worse than most non-jackal shit, even at max. Damage isn't worth it because most fully upgraded weapons do stupidly high damage anyways, and mushrooms can make up for weaker things. They also need the rarest shit to upgrade. Durability is a bit of a non-issue or at least less of an issue for weapons. To explain, it's because with weapons like the rapier, you SHOULD spam them. Spam, spam, spam. Their moves are designed for it and spacing isn't as much of an issue because of the reach.

For the motorpsycho however, it's big, clunky and hits like a damn truck. Every attack should be used carefully and aimed. Except the rage move when you want to become the PAIN TRAIN.

Mechanically speaking, the saber does eke out over the Psycho simply for its ease of use. The biggest 'skill' to master for it is the Killer Needle move which makes it one of the most user friendly weapons if not the most. I was just trying to illustrate what makes both weapons fun and what to keep an eye out for. Despite how good the saber is, I still only use it when I want to stunlock a hater to death because I'm out of shrooms. Just not as fun for me as my baby Psycho.

So is it just me or does the existence of a bunch of the mushrooms negate all future content if you stockpile enough of them?

Cloakshrooms and sloeshrooms negate bosses, guardshrooms offer flat out invincibility (and no downside for stingshrooms when used together), and brainshrooms cancel out all potential 'PvP' style gameplay

unless we get heat detecting goggle enemies or enemies that can siphon mushroom effects, future content will be rushed pretty easily and swiftly

why doesn't the f31+ secret shop sell oxygen-free copper, but does two other rare mats, ultra-pure iron and chemo-synthesized oil?

after two days of farming osuki and hiranuma for just one oxygen-free copper for my 3* buzzsaw, I now need 2 of those coppers for +2.

I'm having an easier time upgrading my death burner, just one more + to go after the +3 finishing building.

maybe I should just beat the game already and wait for the update for hopefully, an easier way to get the copper

Obviously that's gonna be useless for your general play, but the question is if there's a cap to that damage taken value. Could I just take my armor off and take 900,000 damage from fire/fall damage with continuous healing via poison eater or something, then walk up and punch a Jackal to death in one hit? Is that damage stored subject to defense?

Granted taking enough damage without ever hitting anything back to actually kill a Jackal would be a totally stupid proposition, but it'd make a fun video at least to oneshot a Jackal unarmed.

Is there any real advantage to filling the info out for it? plus the KC you get form them is worth it in my opinion. If you find a gold pillbug yeah the 100% life back on death is real useful specially on a defender but i wouldn't say it's a MUST when you can just stack guardshrooms for the final boss. you just need some high dps weapon and you're golden it's not like you even need armor for it if you know what you're doing.

I dunno, his video makes one good point that he didn't realize, and didn't state.

The game is fucking terrible at teaching you lessons like how disposable your characters are, how mushrooms are the key to dealing with mobs/fucking anything, how getting combo'd works, etc etc. Sure the basics are written down in the manual, but grasping game mechanics deeper than that doesn't really come easily with Let it Die.

Pretty much all of us have thought those same things he said in the video, unless we were actively discussing and learning from people who were farther than us. Course, then we had the patience to get past that and actually learn how the game works, but having to make these dumb videos all the time means he probably doesn't have the time to invest, so he's functionally an ADD riddled 15 year old when it comes to grasping games.

I think a lot of it comes down to just type of game and reviewers being too fucking ego-driven to ever admit or even realize that they just don't have the time to invest in a game that requires it. It's like asking someone to review an MMO in 4 hours. They're not going to accomplish anything or have any actual metric to grade the game on, but they still spit out a "it's garbage it was boring," because it's their job.

Granted Yahtzee's not a real reviewer and I still god a few chuckles from the stupid jokes, but pretty much every review of a game like this is like that - someone who clearly didn't put in enough time to 'get' anything about the game, but still has to shove out a complete review anyways.

Nah, I do find value in seeing what was said about the game since it really drives home the main flaw I feel the game has and stated earlier: it just sucks at teaching. That's the only thing approximating a review I've read/watched for the game though, reviews are an incredibly flawed way of judging most game anyways, for reasons I've also already stated. Note, use your camera rotation during attacks to shift your body downward and dodge bullets with certain moves since you move under the projectile frames. You can also dodge attacks cqc like this during certain attack animations, just test stuff.
