Is control blood any good? I really dislike aggro decks and I'm bored of Seraph, sometimes you autolose on turn 6, sometimes not. I'd like another control deck. I'm thinking 3x queen vamp, 3 bloody mary and 3 dire bonds for some meme potential. Just missing queen vamps which I could grab off prebuild deck.

Roach OTK isn't built to win every matchup. It's built to win specific matchups as often as possible, which makes it good for climbing ladder. You usually just concede when there's too many wards you can't deal with.

The hybrid Roack OTK decks that have decent matchups vs everyone sacrifice their combo consistency, which means it actually loses more often.

Well, tried it out for a bit and it seems like a solid list.

I thought this too until I spent a lot more time with it. Often times it comes to exercising good judgement not only for what's happening right now, but for much later in the game. Honestly sometimes its like a puzzle for how to handle certain situations and still get your win. Sometimes you have to let one of those roaches go to win.
I suspect this deck does so well in higher levels not only because of the meta but the players are just better, but I'm a scrub and new to TGCs so I don't really know.

I always use the main combo as a basis and go from there. The main combo is 7pp and needs 1 roach, 2x 0pp fairies, 1x 0pp goblin mage, and 1 nature's guidance, and does 17 damage. You can edit it from there: if you go turn 8, you an pop an angelic snipe or fairy circle and add 3 damage (one for each roach), if you have a spare evolve from going 2nd you add 2 damage, etc.

That is obviously perfect world stuff, it's the improvising and maybe suiciding a roach in for lethal the next turn or taking out a ward. They need to change the drafting process, otherwise it will never change. Take 2 meta is pick cards that work well independently to fill out your curve. They need to change the algo to give you less trash so you can actually build something like an Earthrite shell or something or give more choices.

Maybe letting you reject all the choices and reroll a limited amount of times per draft with limitations if necessary.
