I'm interested in playing this game because I'm looking for a new MMO to get into, and according to a lot of people, this MMO is very good and not like the typical crap that has been coming out in the last few years.

However I have a few questions:

1. In the OP there's a "sales" link which has this game for much cheaper than it is on Steam. Is it safe and better to purchase this way? Do I get to link with my Steam account and have it as if I owned it on Steam too? Is there any downside to purchasing it this way?

2. What is the difference between buying the normal version and the "Gold" version?

3. Is this game a ghost town or does it have enough players to make it enjoyable for raiding stuff like you would in other MMO's, as in, a "community"? Is end-game good?

It is safe, because it's on the official list of authorized resellers. You don't get to link with Steam unless you purchase on Steam. The downside is lack of Steam integration: this does not hamper you in any way.

Game is growing. This can be felt in way of Guild Traders: a player guild can have 500 members, and there are a fixed number of spots you can bid on to have an outlet. The prices are going way up with new guilds trying to muscle in.

Pretty much for now there is crafting stations, dps target and you can place your banker/merchant from the crown store. That's about it right now, there's shit load of cool ass looking achievement shit you can craft/buy to show off your e-penis.

I can't remember but there is a passive in one of the CP tree if you spend enough points into it you'll get increased chance at higher quality loot from chest and boxes.

The way to make money from legerdemain is to find one of the many lockbox city farms routes and run them in circles until you max out your sales for the day, that is little harder since 1T and everyone being in competition with each other.

Normally you'd invest into auto-lockpicking as well because at max it's like 9 in 10 times you'll just nail it one and then they'll be that one time you'll go through 10 lockpick in a row.

That's a good thing to do and I have done it with all of the DLC dungeons, could be a waste of time for most non-dlc dungeons though since they aren't too hard(trashmob-wise).
I'd definitely recommend watching a video on the hardmode differences for the dungeons you want to do, some dungeons are easy as fuck and then you reach the final boss and activate the scroll and suddenly this one fight makes the dungeon overall harder than another

I'm still thinking of putting together a trinimacs valor +sentinel of rkugamz/infernal guardian set, only because it should proc more than often enough with igneous shield being the source of major mending. You can do whatever you want outside of vet dungeons, tryhards in normal are usually above cp160 and just want quick pledges, and thus should fuck off back to vet instead of telling people to follow the meta

A lot of solo builds are hybrid roles like tank/dps that can do both well, but for vet dungeons you'll want to specialise.

Nah, that's my setup bar. My entropy is degeneration and grants me basically 1000 extra spell damage + healing, and I almost always get an extra crystal frag when I cast the three things.
Then I switch to a bar that's specifically for single targets, force pulse, endless fury, magicka drain if I feel like it

These days it's around 20-30k sustained, more if I get lucky. My ults are shooting star and overload (with a few perks equipped to keep me alive) if I have enough ultimate saved up.

My only issue is that I'm squishy in some situations, and keeping my magicka up (though that's what elemental drain and magicka crit potions are for). I keep up a ward that keeps me alive and the twilight matriarch heals around half my health though.
I've been able to solo a few bosses with this, though it's not easy.

I've seen some DK builds that use bow as part of their burst, but if you want to really main it I'd go NB. Alcast has a really good build for it on his website (the "Silencium" build), if you can pull off the warhorn you can kill even assholes in heavy armor running proc sets before they even know what's happening.

But the key with a bow build is that it's pretty much always going to be a burst build. With all the gap closers in this game it's hard for stamina classes to just keep flying up to you (and 2H builds will get free damage out of it), nor is it hard for a mag build to just shoot back at you. Your best bet is to blow someone up with a 20K Lethal Arrow (and a clean-up Poison Injection if they survive that) before they even know they're in a fight.

Just hope they're not running Miat's PVP Addon. :^)

I've been playing around on the PTS a little with decorating Sleek Creek and since I've got all Dominion zones finished I'm already set to buy it. Likewise, I've got all my shit for EP/The Rift done for the character I plan on sticking in the Nimalten house so I'm good there too.

I think my main concern for being ready for housing is gathering piles and piles and piles of style mats because holy shit furnishings eat them like candy. They're kinda harsh on tempers too. Fortunately the rest seems to be all new mats so while that's going to mean serious resource wars the moment the patch hits it at least means I can ignore it for now because I literally can't get it ahead of time.
