I think they should have done the opposite, no damage increasing legendaries period.

I do like the (dps) legendaries that changes your playstyle or interacts with your kit (fire mage bracers is a cool example) they sort of act like another talent almost.

you're always going to have one legendary be stronger than another one, so they should all be pure utilty. i know it would kind of devaluate the items, but still. If one item increased my off-healing slightly and another one increased my movement speed a tiny bit, I mean that's not as bad as 2% to maybe 5% differences between DPS legos.

I say remove the dps legendaries. If there's a legendary that changes the gameplay to be more fun, bake that in to the spec themselves (like moonkin emerald dreamcatcher spellweaving or BM multiple charges for Dire Beast).

Only keep the utility legendaries like Prydaz and healing pants etc. Make them something that only supports what you can already do through skill which is survive boss mechanics. Just gives you a little more room for mistakes and helps the healers.

It's actually amazing to me how bad people are at transmog in general. It's really not hard to just find decent looking gear with colors that match or work in tandem with a theme. Make sure your character's hair color fits too. Weapons don't even have to fit in color wise sometimes, a weapon that matches is great but sometimes getting a weapon that fits in with the theme but stands out can look even better, it depends. Transmog is actually pretty flexible yet 90% of people i meet or see are just fucking horrible at it.

I never even thought i was good at transmog cause i just make shit that seems to look good to me, but apparently i am good at it since i actually have lots of people who come to me for transmog advice, to rate their mog, to see my mogs, to help them build a mog, etc. It's pretty fun.

The problem with asking if people got 2 legendaries in 3 /played days is that the only people who will answer yes to that are people who only just started playing not recently. A couple of reasons for this would be:

1. Blizzard secretly had 'bad luck protection' completely disabled for the first 4 or so weeks of the expansion. So very little people had any legendaries in that time, except for retardedly lucky people.
2. Blizzard buffed the drop rate of legendaries, or at least decreased the bad luck protection 'progress bar' in the 7.1 patch
3. Luck still plays a huge factor in this bullshit

The only thing that can be said for sure is if you have a new or fresh character right now you will definitely get your first legendary within 2 or 3 weeks, assuming you actually do content in the game.

I myself have 47 days /played at this level and i only have 3 legendaries, despite doing a fuckton of content, while another guy in my guild has less content done than me and has 6 legendaries. These are both on single characters, not account wide.

You cannot include legendaries across multiple characters because that doesn't count. Each character has their own separate 'bad luck protection' progress, and as such getting your first legendary on a different character is very easy and fast. I could easily say "oh i have 4 legendaries" if i played 4 different characters, because each would have the easy first one.

This is false information. Blizzard had a secret soft cap of 4 legendaries for a long time but they admitted to this and disabled it a while back. There is no soft cap anymore.

The reason it still takes a fuckton of time to get more than 4 is because there is yet another hidden system in place. The system is that everytime you get a legendary, the bad luck protection progress bar for your next one just gets bigger and bigger, so you have to do more shit to build it up every time.

For the sake of an example, let's make up some numbers here. The bad luck protection bar is the same as a mythic+ trash mob bar. Let's say you have 3 legendaries right now, a mythic raid boss gives you 1% completion of the bar per kill. Okay now you have 4 legendaries, a mythic raid boss now gives 0.75% completion per kill.

It just takes longer and longer each time. Retard luck is the only thing that breaks through.

Well that makes me feel slightly better. I also do my weekly four clears every week and spam loads of m+ so I understand the frustration. I have around 250 m+ and not much to show for it but sephuz and two utility legendaries as a DPS main. It'll be overtuned as fuck just like ToV then they'll nerf some bosses after 2 weeks, but they'll still be much harder than they should be to the point you need every raider to be full heroic geared with a bunch of mythic pieces before you'll even be able to progress through majority of mythic.

I hope i am wrong. I really do. I don't want to deal with another overtuned piece of shit raid. it's just hard for casual players to get into it cause everyone wants to do nightbane so they want more geared people that have done the instance before so there's even more gating to get in than raid pugs

but to be honest it does still take about an hour

also I feel by the end of the xpac, most people's memories of it will be relating to its M+ edition which will be FUCKING AIDS
