I love Symmetra, literally the greatest character ever designed alongside Mei.
Other characters? You have to actually put in some degree of effort to reach their skill ceiling. Even Mei requires you to put in a miniscule amount of tracking to slow the enemy and then it gets easier but you still have to actually aim at the enemy for a few seconds. Plus icicles are a big part of her kit and those require a tiny bit of aim.
But Symmetra? Symmetra is way better and more fun to play against. Her skill ceiling is literally hold W+M1. There is nothing more to it, you literally cannot reach more skilled Symmetra play than holding W+M1. I guess you could press E somewhere in the mixture if you want to be an extremely skilled and advanced Symmetra player.
So yeah, I think Symmetra is the hardest character in the game to play and easily the most balanced. It's incredibly hard to score a kill with a beam range that reaches across the map, a shield that lets you win just about any 1v1 and a damage output that melts anything short of a tank. And since it's so hard, I'm glad she has regenerating health and an ability that gives her another 75 regenning health because her portable shield doesn't give her enough durability.
Truly the best character in video gaming history.

Make her hack more like Zenyatta's Orb, in that it stays on for an indefinite amount of time (in a certain close-by radius; like half of Hook range) or a few seconds behind a wall. Change what she's able to hack; a Sombra who can manage to keep a bead on an ulting Genji when he's zipping around deserves to cut it short, and a Genji that fails to notice her when ulting deserves to be punished for poor spatial awareness.

Her other abilities and her damage are perfectly fine as is. It's just that her hacking, her primary feature, is just a supplement to her arsenal rather than what kills people.

The "strategy" consists of divide and conquer, fucking around in the backline to make the frontline weaker as people go off to rebuild the sentries they just got destroyed, to make their team cohesively weaker. Fuck with their numbers.

Also, yes, that's how you deal with 6 Sym. No group fights. Everyone goes for shield generators, or simply baits Syms to go away from the rest of the team, where they lose guns, or better yet, leave the shield radius.

Blizzard's only going to put out shorts and stuff that relate to the canon fall of Overwatch. All the older characters, Tracer, Winston, Torb, Genji, the like.

Why we have so many characters that barely relate to OW as an org is kinda strange to me. Zenyatta works with Genji, but I can't figure out why

Widows don't push objectives and can't stay on points. While other characters have hitscan weapons plus can do those things. So widow is often just a selfish kill farmer on offense with no real help to the team. I've seen teams with Widows you think were aimbotting but her team can barely get out of the spawn and thus she's not really doing anything. Too weak to come out and actually fight. But she'll get a card or play of the game so that player will keep picking her and keep being useless to everyone but the player's epeen. Hanzo can at least keep the opponent spotted easier and scatter spam. But also requires more aim technique on his primary weapon. So that's usually a fail too. On defense, they can be pretty good as they don't need to actually push anything.
