As someone who loves the Musou series like one would love a child, I can say for certain that this game won't be trash.

As for the roster, I'd say every lord has a chance. My interpretation of the teaser is that the five swords used are the most iconic designs right now, excluding Ragnell and the Sword of Seals. Tyrfing, Durandal, Sieglinde, Light Sword, etc. don't really have definite designs at the moment, which is probably why they weren't shown. Maybe I'm just being hopeful, but I think Koei will utilize the cast to it's full potential.

That said, as with Berserk and Gundam, expect a LOT of your favorite characters to get reduced to NPC roles. Though, one could argue that with a potential cast as big as FE's, even being an NPC could be considered a great honor.

I find most of these things come down to how you spin them. Not really. We do have a lot of FE information that could use elaborating on beyond a mainline title. The recent Animal Crossing direct was near 40 minutes long and had nothing on a new game.

Meanwhile, we need to know more about FE Warriors, FE mobile (we've known about this far longer yet know LESS about it than Warriors, we need info), Corrin amiibos, last of the Fates scrambles possibly, and potential new amiibos for FE Warriors.

Hyrule Warriors also received its own direct, again, it's not too crazy.

Not to say that I don't WANT FE15, I just think it would be in their best interest to not announce it here. They want to push the franchise as one of their frontline IPs, they want to these spin-offs to get people's attention and turn heads, announcing a mainline entry would conflict with that, it would make more sense to expect something at E3.

I'm not counting them out entirely, just thinking that they may not be in the base game. HW had a ton of DLC characters after all. Of course I could be wrong, though it really depends on how they prioritize. If they try to have characters to rep different classes then Camilla has a decent shot, though Minerva might get priority over her.

As someone said, if it's anything like HW the initial roster will be pretty modest, and there are a lot of potential characters to cover.

Best place to be is a good PC that can play games at medium-high, then a Nintendo console. While the emulators are moving along, I'd still rather play on the original hardware for a variety of reasons.
