What is the appeal of Mosou games? I love Fire Emblem, favorite franchise, but the idea of attacking faceless mobs while mashing A or B for hours on end sounds really boring. Know why I like Fire Emblem? Because it requires strategy.

If you ever played any of the Warriors Empires games, I think that platform could fit FE Musou much better than the standard hack-and-slash of the normal games.

Maybe this could throw in leveling capped at 40, and at 20 you can choose a promotion path that grants that unit benefits like different accessible movesets and mounts, along with increased units under their control.

You could plan out where you want NPCs during battle, and give orders to each individually. Just think of the possibilities, especially on higher difficulties.

I was thinking Weapon Triangle could be kinda like the weapon system in DW8.

Having a superior weapon gives better damage, having an inferior weapon makes enemies unflinchable, with same weapons, along with Bows and Magic, being neutral.

This would actually be a benefit to enemy mages like Gharnef or Leo, as units wouldn't be able to get free hits on them.
