If you want to get a house or apartment, do not transfer to balmung at any point. It's impossible to find housing here. Every plot of land is taken, every apartment building full

There's a bunch of decent gear you can buy at idyllshire for lore tomestones.

Balmung is the de-facto roleplay server, if that's your thing.
Gilgamesh is similar to WoW's Blackrock: progression-focused players.

Both are highly populated, and very difficult to get a character onto. You basically have to make a character elsewhere then pay to transfer it to those.

Any mid-pop server is fine.

You can either spend hours waiting to get on Balmung, Gilgamesh, Leviathan, Excalibur or Odin or create a character, wait 3 days then transfers onto any one of them.

Balmung has the most player count, but a lot of drama tends to go down on that server. Gilgamesh is pretty decent, but also has problems of its own.

Leviathan is the "promised land of raiding" like Gilgamesh was. Excalibur is just Excalibur, nothing big or fancy there.

Odin is an EU server with a decent number of players.

Seriously this is some bullshit. Speed is quite a lot worse than the weights would lead you to believe. The amount of effort I have to go to in order to avoid clipping or dropping demolish at this stage is unreal. Let alone the fact that I have an unavoidable 15 seconds of TP starvation. On the bright side I can sometimes bootshine twice in a row without dropping dragon kick. Maybe with EVEN MORE SPEED i'll be able to work something out.

Well the issue is that there is actually a point where you can fit Fracture in to avoid clipping Demolish, but that is a lot less skill speed than you currently have. Like you can justify Fracture every now and then at 600 skill speed, just you also have to be careful about your TP. You've gone far beyond that and you're paying the price a heck of a lot

Yes I'm aware of how to use fracture. It's a required part of every monk's rotation.

The issue here is to actually beat the A12S dummy I had to do retarded shit like double bootshines because I would have ended up fracturing on every single demolish. The level of mechanical difficulty fucking skyrockets, while even with perfect performance you're getting less damage. The melees are designed to have one very specific level of speed, no more no less. And that's just shit.
