An actual guide to aggro bats that doesn't say "go face"

Think about how to get the most value out of your evolves. Ideally, you want to evolve a follower that can hit face. Yes, Vampy looks super cute and summons a bat when she evolves, but if you just played her and you don't have Vampiric Fort out, evoing a follower already on the board and smorcing is 90% of the time better.

Which brings me to another point. You must ensure you have followers on the board when you enter the first turn you can evolve. This is why people playing aggro bats prefer playing a 1-drop and 2-drop on turn 3 rather than a 3-drop because you have a better shot at having something alive to evolve and hit face with.

Hold onto certain cards that synergize with others (namely Nighthorde, Summon Bloodkin) in the late game. Opponent at 2 life but has multiple wards and you have only summon bloodkin in your hand? It is better to hold onto the card and hope you draw Vampy.

The Levi bullshit is in Daria and is one of the main reasons Daria is Tier 1, everyone has seen it.
DShift is not good on this meta because it can't deal with Aggro Vamp or Daria. Roach kills them faster than they can kill them unless they get lucky with Summon Iceforms.

Remi and Rami aren't as necessary as they used to be Sure, their stats are nice, but rarely do you need 5 attack as opposed to 4, and the bulk does not often help it survive another turn on the board. Veteran Alchemist is extremely valuable right now for staying out of Bat and Albert kill range and isn't dead if you're without evo points.

I'm still undecided whether she's having enough impact in my deck.

Refill can be nice when you run out of gas or have a dead hand full of sigils/evolve minions but she often sits in my hand for a while so I'm still undecided.

PtP shits on control decks and gives you a way to push damage even when they're wiping your board every turn and you're crying because you don't have storms. I pulled it one day and decided to include it on a whim. I've never removed it since.

Calamitous Curse is too slow to respond to aggro strategies and isn't necessary against slower ones, wherein you just trade golems and not care because the other player isn't pushing damage either. If you're particularly worried about Shadowcraft you can go ahead and play some, but my winrate on that front is fine as is, so I didn't see a need when it would just drop my winrate against literally everything else.

Again, pokemon was around in the fucking 90s. Hearthstone has an expansion every 4-6 months. It doesnt have content as it is and is anemic in terms of card counts. Many expansions are 40 shit cards where maybe 6 are playable. Rotations work and add flavour after years and years and 1000s of cards are in sets.
