RP servers are a cool idea, I've played a lot of tabletop RPG games. But the worst thing about RP servers is always the roleplayers.
Emerald Dream on retail wasn't terrible but it was way more pvp and guild vs guild focused with fun rivalries, way less weird degenerate shit (tho it had that too, just nowhere near Moon Guard levels).
I actually think the autism that propels some of those degenerates makes for a fun server, it just gets old after awhile and the manufactured drama reminds me of a /vg/ guild in many ways.

I started when they raised the cap to 9k initially and questing wasn't that bad. The respawn rate was pretty much instant, but that might have changed with people moving on to the second and third zones.

The quest to get the 4 items in the night elf area was a nightmare though.

Kill quests are pretty fucking easy, the respawn is jacked really fucking high. Ignore anything requiring you to wait for an item to spawn unless you feel like attempting to ninja it, and even then don't spend a lot of time being a dick (just not worth the time). Ignore huge focus points like hogger as even with the fast respawn you'll have 20 groups competing with each other, trolling each other, and whispering sexy words to each other.
You can literally just find a mob or two to camp and get to 9th or so lightning fast. I saw two chink names literally botting in the kobold mine and was stealing their tag for 30 minutes while they killed things instantly for me. They never reacted to it turning grey to them because LOL BOTS.
I saved their names and will let you fags know if they never get banned but i'm pretty sure we already know they won't.

I was 14-15 years old and sold an account to a different player. Not a company, not a gold selling ring, not a business, a player. The character also had no gold on it, as I gave away the gold to RL friends before selling it, as I wanted to quit and get an Xbox 360 at the time and play Elder Scrolls Oblivion.
