it is by far the most fun. The collapsed-sword R1 attack launches you forward, and the transition attacks can make you move forward or backward. The extended-sword R1 attacks have a massive range and huge arc, but they are slow. They always stun though; very easy to kill groups of enemies free-aim with it

However, Cleaver has a much different (and in my opinion, better) untransformed moveset. Although, untransformed Cleaver loses its serrated bonus; Saw does not.

Saif is almost a completely different weapon: no serration, and while the last two-three R1s in the transformed attack chain are similar to Saws' untransformed R1 chain, the rest of the moveset in both forms is rather different.

What triggers the end of the game is that Moon Presence got what it needed from you rather than Mergo's death itself. You stumbled upon it, but you were nudged in that direction and it was expected of you, eventually.

As for why MP wanted Mergo dead, who can tell. I'm thinking maybe the ritual bound MP in some way? The ritual is said to beckon the moon, and the red moon all over the sky seems to indicate it was successful.

One Reborn is a ritual thing to Mergo, to get Micolash outta the Mensis nightmare by making a portal between the dimensions in the form of the Lecture Building. However during the ritual, people start turning into beasts. You stick your dick in the half baked portal, and go the other way through. Killing the Paleblood (Great One/God) Mergo means that the full ritual is over, and people stop turning into beasts-they don't change back though. You basically stop Yharnam from getting more fucked than it already is, whilst killing off some of the healing church-the guys who spread the tainted/infected blood which allowed people to turn into beasts. Church don't control them, its how the Great Ones communicate/ their language. The Hunter Caryll broke the code, not the church thus she got credit for them. Of the top of my head, the closest I can think they are like are the true names from Eragon. Some are useful and have actual effect when remebered, like the word Metamorphosis or Clawmark, and some are fucking useless, I imagine words like Boot or Potato. All of them are on the big clocktower wheel thing, you might recognise a few, some are unknown. A better grade Caryll rune just means the word is clearer to read.
Also the Guidance III rune has still not been found in the dungeons somewhere yet. Find it and you become the lord of /bbg/ period

Rom started human, got some eyes, ascended to be a great one and decided 'fuck it I have nothing else to do, may as well fuck around with my old mates', so she hid away some unsightly rituals which her old friends wanted to have a peek at. Thats why you can still be killed by the corpses on fire in Hypnogean Gaol without seeing them, because Rom is hiding them away at that point in time.
Did you also know that you can lead the Amalgamate carts into the fires to both put the fires out and deal a good chuck of DoT to them?

If you look at Willems' neck, he is growing some eyes, thus is ascending, but at a much slower rate than Rom did until you kill him for an Eye rune

Only problem is that slut-lips Kos (or some say Kosm) is kinda dead, but Micolash doesn't know it or went mad and forgot. Is it worth leveling arc to 15? I have a 40/20/50/25 build at 98 and i don´t know if should stop here or level arc to 15 for some tools or any other stat, i usually stop at 120 since i only co-op and rarely do pvp.

I was thinkjing on doing a beast embrace/claw run and was thinking if the beast roar tool would be useful.

I noticed if you lead a cramped casket so it runs into one of those glowing / burning corpses in Yahar'Gul, they will kind of ignite in a glowing flame. It makes them sluggish and changes their moveset

Central Yharnam mostly felt like a warm-up (probably because it was), but I wish we had more areas like Old Yharnam, where it's completely overrun with beasts. Loran could be a makeshift substitute, but I'd also like to not have spiders wrecking my shit at every turn.
However, I'd have to say my favorite area is the Forbidden Woods, it felt very well-designed.

I just beat the whole DLC at 95. It's not a problem of level.

If you can summon Henrietta, you're at the lamp right before the boss. Just run across the river and fight ludwig. And you can't summon players if you're not online.

For chalice dungeons, just do a ritual at a stone and do the dungeon. The first chalice of a type you get is fixed, then you get a root chalice that randomizes the dungeon and a next depth chalice. At 90 you can do up to depth 3 no problem, and maybe even depth 4.

You're not being invaded if the bell is just ringing but you're at risk of being invaded

Alright bbg, where the actual fuck is/was the Research Hall in proper Yharnam?

In the nightmare it's above the second Grand Cathederal and connects to the balcony above Celestial Emmisionaries boss-room. But the elevator that takes you there doesn't exist in Amelia's boss room, and the part that takes you to Eribritas doesn't exist in the Nightmare. Plus the Grand Cathederal doesn't seem to have room for a gisnt research hall inside its upper layers. Living Failures boss room doesn't exist in the Grand Cathederal, instead there is a much smaller walkway that's much lower down leading into the area that would be Maria's boss room. The weird thing is it looks indentical in the nightmare when viewing the Cathederal from a distance. The walkway is thin and has no flower garden. Maria's boss room also doesn't make sense, the clock is lower on the outside than the enterance is, you should only be able to see the top half of the Clockface from inside.

Also, from the bridge connecting orphanage to Emmisionary boss room you can see a back section of the Cathederal with yet another clock tower (so a total of 3) that you never even get close to visiting. It's at least double in length than what you enter, there's another Cathederal worth behind the Laurence's skull altar. Which means there's a giant building on top of Eribritas.

What does it all mean?

Grab the Blood Rock from Mensis, after dropping the giant frenzy brain. Upgrade those blades, or Ludwig's, to +10.

To summon someone,, in-game, go into System > Network > Matchmaking: Worldwide (always leave it at this). To summon someone specifically from /bbg/, type in a password in the password section. The person trying to be summoned will put that in their own password section. You ring your beckoning bell, without a password you'll get randoms around your level, with a password, you'll get someone of any level but they'll be sufficiently powered down to around your level.

When you summon someone, this also spawns a bell maiden, who can then - depending upon your level and whoever's in the area - summon invaders. Kill the bell maiden to stop invaders coming in, she's often hidden away in some weird corner.

Chalice Dungeons have 3-4 levels (layers) each, and go from Depth 1-5, Depth is difficulty. You will be able to make your own Foetid, Rotted and Cursed dungeons later on, in which the best bloodgems are found. Foetid and Rotted summon harder and rarer enemies, Cursed cuts your HP in half for the duration of the dungeon.
